I applaud Captain Tom for his positive attitude. Flying aged 100 to Barbados to enjoy Christmas with his daughter and grandchildren.

me too.

I'm spending Christmas just myself and my disabled daughter but that would be happening covid or not due to other issues.

I am however having yule as my Christmas day and will be my kids that live at home and my partner.. and my little sister x

For many it will definitely be their last Christmas irrespective of Covid-19 so I wouldn't be so fast to judge everyone who's circumstances are totally different to your own.

If this virus has taught me anything it’s how quickly people are ready to pass judgement without knowing the facts ..

totally agree, if my parents were still alive i would have been seeing them over the Xmas period, even if it meant isolating for 10 days before

Take a test the day before, if negative then all is good.

Indeed, there's a few things families can do to mitigate risks of infection and still meet up especially while Doris says it's OK
