Does anybody know how many people are being vaccinated daily/weekly. I am not sure how knowing will make a difference to me, like a lot of people just anxious to get it all sorted I guess.

Luton

So far only 70 hospitals and 100 GP surgeries are able to administer it. That said I've read that tens of thousands have been given.

I know I've person who's actually had it, and two who get their first jab this month.

Didn't it only just start? I think supplies have been delivered this weekend, so this week is the better 1 to watch. Birmingham had complained about lack of supplies, despite it being an area with substantial problems and populations.

Yes we're very much at the beginning. Provision will be ramped up in coming weeks. But even at this early stage i know people who have either had it already or who will very soon.

Pretty sure I saw a figure of 200 a day per hospital at the start of last week, but that number may have risen and didn't include GP practices.

A GP friend says the ultimate aim is for each GP surgery to do 5000+ per week

But they're very much at the start of the process right now.

Thats a big ask. Considering you have to stay for 15 mins after each shot and with social distancing in place.
