This is why the speed of the new vaccine

The new Pfizer vaccine is the result of a partnership between Pfizer and BioNTech. BioNTech is a German company established by a husband and wife (of Turkish origin / ancestry) which primarily researches cancer treatments.

The new vaccine is a mRNA vaccine. All mRNA vaccines are characterised by their need to be stored at minus 70 degrees due to their fragility. They are also characterised by the speed with which they can be developed.

This is the first time a mRNA vaccine has been approved for mass human use.

Scarily, unlike normal vaccines which are made using real viruses which have been killed / deactivated, this new mRNA vaccine is manufactured in a laboratory. Similarly, Dolly the sheep, test tube babies, genetically modified crops, genetically modified beef, etc can be described as manufactured in a laboratory.

These facts are quite simplified, but I have done my best to fact check.

And do you know what is sad ?

If genius people like these were given proper funding they might well have found a way to prevent cancers.

It's wonderful what can be achieved with financial support.

Central

It's great news that the decades of work on the mRNA vaccines has paid off. Likewise l, how our world benefits from the scientific process that has yielded immense gains for us.

I'm not sure what the full purposes are from the post, other than gratitude for how we can now bring about a reduction in the traumas of human health and economies. Great progress

The next that the wife says 'do you really need all the stuff in the shed/garage'?

I will simply say I refer you to the scientific evidence of the mRNA vaccines..

Why is it the first time an mrna vaccine has been approved?

Why have they never been approved for human use before?

It's new..

That's not unusual in science and medicine..

It was too expensive and there wasn't a justifiable reason to spend the money ?

What I'm saying is, caveat emptor.

This is a completely new and artificial vaccine. It is man made in a laboratory. It has never been tested on mankind at the scale which Boris / Hancock is attempting to test it on you.

Hope That Helps.

I didn't realise that drugs and vaccines are the same thing.

What's a big hug bought scale to test ?

What's a reasonable time to wait and see ?

Well, the old fashioned vaccines would take about 10 years to come to market.

So, 10 year?

Why did they take 10 years? Can you break it down for me? Research, trials, approvals and manufacturing. Number of months for each please...

The basics of what are the current mRNA vaccines were first 'discovered' in 1989..
