I think you can in any Tier. Public outdoor spaces (countryside included) with up to 6 people not in your household or bubble.

Not true:

Tier three (very high) rules

Additional restrictions apply:

You can't mix with anybody you do not live with, or who is not in your support bubble, indoors, or in private gardens and pub gardens

You can meet in a group of up to six in other outdoor spaces, such as parks, beaches or countryside

Shops, gyms and personal care services (such as hairdressing) can reopen (if Covid-secure)

Hospitality venues - such as bars, pubs, cafes and restaurants must stay closed, except for delivery and takeaway services

Spectator sports cannot resume

Indoor entertainment venues - such as bowling alleys and cinemas - must stay closed

People are advised not to travel to and from tier three areas

I think it's concerning people can't read. It's flipping clear from gov.uk that you CAN go for a walk outdoors with others, in all tiers. Up to 6 people only.

A big problem of this whole pandemic is people understanding and following the rules. In this thread alone there are so many different versions of the rules. Either people don't know, don't care or simply don't understand and make their own rules to suit.

A lot of the restrictions have been so called grey areas and not so easy to follow.

In regards to meeting outdoors, in all tiers, you can meet in groups upto 6 in public outdoor spaces, parks, beaches, etc. They don't have to be from your household either. It's all on the gov website.

You cant meet anyone indoors or private gardens that is not from your household (some exceptions, bubbles etc).

It's not for me to tell or judge as it is taking its toll on everyone now and I can understand why people are choosing to bend the rules.

That’s not right either

. Tier 2 you can meet in gardens just not indoors. And Tier one is indoors. Rule of 6 applies.
