Rita Ora becomes the latest 'celebrity' to break lockdown rules by attending a party in a London restauant with 30 guests. But as with all the other celebrities caught out, she's "Deeply sorry" by her "irresponsible actions".... Well that alright then, as long as she's sorry

But people on here, in general, aren't role models to thousands of others.

She’s only doing what people are doing round the country anyway. Only difference is the 10k fine is peanuts to her and probably cost less than the party itself.

I watch with bemusement over some of the things “influencers” are doing on social media like throwing house parties etc.

And we wonder why we may need a other lockdown.

The reason she is sorry is because she has been caught. If she hadn't then she wouldn't be sorry. But how many others have been naughty and haven't been caught???

Would it of been a different situation if she had held it at home and had someone cook for her and her friends?

But when Lewis Hamilton recently jumped into a crowd of well over 30 people hugging them after his win nobody said a word.

Probably because of the widespread testing regimes of the teams in F1.

Lots of celebrities who have had parties have also had their guests tested and even isolated that still were criticised

F1 is no different to professional football., but totally different to a celeb party.

Better to seek forgiveness than ask for permission... Apparently.

Can you imagine the uproar if 30 students had done the same (yes I know there are reports of such) and the reaction on here is they should be fenced in, locked away, sent home etc... Meantime the police would be hunting down the organisers and issuing them with fines.
