Posted in the context that China cannot be trusted with information. "Oh I see, I don't know enough about it. And there are some who compare our govt (and yes we are far from perfect) with the Chinese govt in the same breath. What i do know is they don't tolerate dissent or debate or free press. So yes very sceptical of what appears to come from their state machine. I can say that here... (I think? Without a knock on the door) I wouldn't be permitted to say the same thing over there. We are all guilty of supporting the regime though... All those black Friday and mad Monday amazon deals for Chinese manufactured products and "stuff". | |||

The only thing anyone can complain about is a potential hiding of the facts in the early days. Unless it can be shown that the virus was man made (and pretty much everyone who understands what they're talking about agrees it wasn't) then where it first occurred is totally irrelevant and trying to blame the local population or the national government is frankly childish and ridiculous. Given the almost total lack of preparation many countries took even when we did know how serious it was, I think blaming the Chinese for withholding info is blatantly hypocritical. The only people making claims that somehow China is responsible are those for whom it is habitual to see a persons worth and their level of guilt in terms of their ethnicity/nationality. Sadly, such ideology resonates well with many. Its always simpler to be able to point the finger at someone else, particularly if they have different colour skin or come from somewhere that is already perceived to be full of enemies. Mr | |||

Last week he was told they don't need to wear a mask in the workplace, or social distance or have proper ventilation. When asked how they are able to not do these things he was simply told that they no longer need to. When pressed further and asked to share what they have learnt and why they're not implementing the things other factories do the response was 'I can't'. Makes you wonder, doesn't it?  | |||
