Two friends (male) who had covid and didn't get very sick ,both stated that weeks and weeks after that they where running to the loo 4 times more often that before they had been ill. I wonder does covid have any bearing on the prostate?

As someone with Prostate cancer I'd recommend they report it to their GP asap.

Yeah age related I think.

Like Gemini said tell them to see a gp in case it's something more serious.

Covid had been proven to shrink testicles months ago so it wouldn't be a leap to think it could affect the prostate too. Either way I'd get it checked out xx

Iceland, but Aldi is closer..

I was peeing far more often when my symptoms were at their worst which was a pain as the last thing I wanted to do was get up and go to the loo.

Definitely worth them speaking with their GP as Covid has been documented to affect organs including kidneys.

I think the older one did say to his GP about it . I posted this just to see if anyone else had the same increase in pee.

There is alot off different problems which stem from Covid which we will only find out about in years to come.

I pee a couple of times a night and my prostate is fine, 2 checks in the last 18 months, the thing is when we blokes get older our prostate gland swells, it pushes on our bladder, this causes your bladder to have "two reservoirs", your only peeing from one,it fills quicker hence more pees, the other reservoir gets stagnant and sometimes gets infected causing UTIs

Most people who are being tested positive are mild syptoms of flus and just as any yearly flues recover after resting,

Get a GP check...extra peeing can mean diabetes.
