Then there is the question of long-term medical issues, currently the extent of this is still unknown. Durham for example has been 100 per cent online since start of term. Students live with other students, socialise with other students and go home to other students. A bunch of 18 and 20 year olds infecting other 18 and 20 year olds as they have not been allowed in lectures or labs and not allowed in pubs and restaurants. I'd be interested to see how many others have been infected this last month by uni students. | |||

The issue of cancelling other important treatments is a whole other issue, the "reason" for cancelling treatments is to reduce the strain on the hospitals, I don't think it's the right choice... although it's again all dictated by finances.
