Will the graphs used on saturday - and shown within minutes to be inaccurate - be Flatten the Sombrero's dodgy dosier?

Iceland, but Aldi is closer..

Several studies concluded very similar figures and where there was a delta, this was highlighted.

The dodgy dossier quote was hugely inflammatory, the data was correct and based upon several key facts and some assumptions, which is how projections are calculated.

One of those assumptions was "If nothing is done", this was a correct assumption to use when the study commenced.

Something was then done, ie, the tiered lockdowns, this was not included.

The now updated projections took deaths from 1500 to 1000, a significant drop but not significant enough to not to do something drastic.

I agree, but the conspiracy nutters unfortunately won't.

Tbf when they use false data to justify something so drastic..Its only right questions should be asked.

they said the tiers were working - just not quickly enough. It would be interesting to know how much quicker they would have had to work for us to avoid another lockdown

I think it was unintentional.

If they wanted to hoodwink us (for reasons I can't even think of), they'd have manufactured some figures that suited the narrative in the space of ten minutes.

Even so. You would have thought they would have made sure they got their figures right.

Yep.

They did themselves no favours.
