Not sure there are specific rules, just apply common sense and do it as normal..

Wipe down anything touched etc, like a shopping trolley..

So it's not counted as "breaking the law" viewing a car to buy?

Dealerships have to be closed but can sell on a click and collect basis. So no official viewing from commercial seller, probably no test drive but they might be willing to offer a trial perhaps?

If a private seller.. it could be the vehicle happens to be on your route to a food shop . Just take sensible precautions...
