This may put covid pandemic into some prospective regarding the last century.

The great War 1914-19 estimate death toll

40 million, the male population of villages and town decimated.

1920 Spanish flu pandemic estimate death toll 50 million.

Wall Street Crash 1927 poverty famine, world wide depression.

1930 raise of fascism resulting in the second world war death toll 55 million including 6 million Holocaust victims.

Joseph Stalin regime death toll 20 million.

Meu su Tung transformation of China death toll 15-45 million from famine.

The treat of global nuclear war.

We now have another lockdown, its a bit of a pisser, but in the big scheme of things is it that bad.

yes worse has happened in the past, This is the worst global crisis most of us have ever had to deal with. So yes it could be worse but that doesn't mean that it's still not a totally awful time.

It's almost as if there had been a million fatalities by the end of April some would still be saying yeah but no but..

Death top trumps..
