Is it worth the risk just for the sake of a Turkey and a present

For the fist time we won’t be having Xmas dinner with my family. We are going to do what we all can to make it special for our two kids.

If we have to just drop gifts to my parents then that will be.

There’s always a video call at dinner time to enjoy the banter. There are always ways of enjoying Christmas.

Stay positive people and enjoy yourselves

We are hoping to be able to see some family over the festive period. Christmas is a tricky one for my family because we have a few anniversaries so it will be a shame if we can't meet up together but if we can't then so be it. We will do something later in the year because it's just not worth risking our or anybody else’s health.

I know but the people that will ignore it will be the very people that moan that restrictions are continuing. I believe that the government will allow some mixing of households over Christmas because they know people will ignore it. I do think they will keep it small though because they know that whatever they do people will push the boundaries. So my prediction is they are going to say we can meet with one or 2 other households with a maximum of 12 people. But that's just my prediction.

This is very true. We are in this situation because my partner has very elderly parents. It's a really tough one.

There are only 7 of us anyway and due to carer duties etc. we are all in one big bubble so it's not going to affect anything for us.

I'll be following whatever the guidance is at the time. I only have a small family though so would only be 4 people max. But honestly, if I can't have have a normal Xmas cause of Covid, then so be it.

It will rather depend on the rules in force in the dayz let's not be preemptive.

Some people will use common sense anyway, some will obey whatever rule is in force and unfortunately those with single figure IQ will do as they wish.

I think it's very unfair that you acquate rule breaking with IQ and intelligence.

Somebody with no education can have lots of common sense and consideration for others and someone who is Highly educated with a very high IQ can be a total nob end.
