So it has now been 7.5 months since my last decent extended hug (lasting beyond 5 seconds!)

Anyone else finding the lack of human contact difficult to bare? Im not sure of a way round it either!

Ye. I prefer being in a relationship anyway but the pandemic has shut down most opportunities for meeting people. I dont do well with online dating as my face isn't very photogenic!!!

That's just it, online dating starts with looks but if you were out and met someone, you take in their whole aura.

Exactly. I like to think im quite fun and rely on making women laugh and being a character to get a spark going. Friends have startwd relationships in lockdown and one moved in with someone (bizarrely-long story). Guess I'm picky too which doesnt help. I need fireworks and connection and online rarely find anything thay creates a spark

Yeah, it's really hard.

I am in a bubble with a couple of family members but they aren't really tactile people so it's been a long time since I have had a proper hug. I do miss physical contact so much.

In my happy place

I get a different sort of hug from my mum as shes in my support Bubble.

But its made me realise that affection from a random guy isnt gonna work when life resumes.

But hard to meet and get to know ppl out in real world.

Its all geared for families out there.
