"If you had anti-glare or anti-reflective coating added when you bought your glasses using washing up liquid could very well destroy it." Very good point! Bugger. Didn't even think of that.

"I have a mask with wire running along the top. This allows me to mold it to my nose/face and prevents a lot of foggy lenses! " Some, if not all, of the blue ones have that - works well in conjunction with twisting the loops...

"You could always buy the little plastic masks They a lot better for breathing and people can see what you are saying We ha e been trying these out at work and a couple of my workmates wear glasses and say they’re a lot better" I've read reports (which may be bullshit) that the plastic visors are worse than useless so worth checking out.

"...so bloody irritating... apart from tape over nose any ideas to stop this??? Best answer wins a prize... go! " What's the prize ? Buy a mask with a hem all the way round, make a small incision at the end of the hem on the upper edge and insert a pipe cleaner which can be used to squeeze the mask round the bridge of your nose

"...so bloody irritating... apart from tape over nose any ideas to stop this??? Best answer wins a prize... go! " Wash your glasses in soapy water it leaves a thin residue that helps prevent them misting over Put your mask on first then glasses so they're not under the top of the mask Tape a bit of folded up tissue paper along the top of the mask so it traps the moisture

"Just go out and splash out a few quid on decent masks that don't steam your glasses up. Pay peanuts and you get monkey masks.. I've tried all different ones and they all steam up my glasses. Which ones do you specifically recommend?" I've built up a fair amount of FFP3 and FFP2 masks prior and since lockdown. Try toolstation and screwfix.. they sell pretty fast when they come in stock...but persevere and you will get them. Ps my original post was late last night before getting my head down...fixed here and hopefully it makes more sense
