I've not met since March and it becomes easier, especially as some seem oblivious to the potential virus issues.

as it’s a global pandemic it tends to put a dampener on things but then again I’m not interested in meeting anyone at the moment

I’ve stopped all sorts of activities including meets. Going to work is sufficient exposure risk for me

Surely you mean 'lost' like somewhere near the beginning of the Pandemic not here at this point in it?

I don't think its about an 'urge'is it ? surely its a necessity for people not to be meeting ..besides I think pretty soon it will be impossible as someone suggested a new enforcement team is being recruited ? like social distancing officers or whatever? plus there is the 'grass on your neighbour' programme again coming in soon .. its not nice to spy on people but I honestly believe these days if you know of someone meeting they need reporting or at least a gentle word in the ear if you know them personally .. now is not the time for swinging unfortunately :/

Not meeting in any shape or form.

But thinking of those meets, parties, clubs, holidays we always planned to do before March but never got around to or got cancelled.

Really missing the social side of meeting swingers too.

Hi OP

Yes, I agree.

I agree with this person's comment.

In June this year it was made law that no 2 same people of single life can meet. It was made illegal.

It is rather frustrating but until covid 19 is over I am not meeting. Amazes me though how people are still breaking rules.

Covid according to Boris is here for Christmas.

So if this virus is here for the long term ie no vaccine the swinging scene is pretty much doomed. Then will be interesting to see in the coming months or years as to peoples change of mind on this

It gets easier, you lose interest in anything sexual & seriously consider joining a convent... Or is that just me?

Then the bubble rule was introduced, for singles

Was pondering over this whilst making sticky toffee pudding.

So I can make a 6 person bubble? Don't they have to be family though? Or strangers having sex with 6 people? I read earlier I could make a fuck buddy and a scientist said get your lover to move in.

Not part of any bubble. No fb. No relationship. Not that one is wanting to meet. Am very confused.

One place says having sex with stranger is illegal. If in relationship its not.

I stick to my sticky pudding

We are convinced that quite a few have joined Fabs since lockdown, believing as it is a Swinging site, people will have lower standards and meet them for sex.

It does make us smile, when they start kicking off and remain unverified, threatening to leave as most are fake and not genuine...

Of course some have multiple bubbles of 6 and their 6 have multiple bubbles too and just try and get round it all.

We've thought that too.

Joining in March and gobbling off that nobody ever meets and everyone is a timewaster.

Once Covid is out the equation, they'll all run for cover.

We've tried it with people who randomly contact us, usually late at night with a "want a shag now" type of message.

Ok, sounds great, what's your address" we reply...suddenly, it's a no reply and user left the site...never mind.

I must be missing something, I saw a swinging couple on Tik Tok and yes user names says they are. Had a lady in the car next video they had a play in a swinging club. I thought that swinging club couldn't currently do this.

I've not even thought about meeting strangers since covid19 it's madness that people are in its going on a lot in the inbox of fabguys..

"Anyone else loosing the urge to meet due to lockdown?"

It's not an issue for me.

I had hoped that as adults, we could all have managed not to meet unknown people for sex during a pandemic.

Sadly, that seems not to be the case...

Just need to look at the newsfeed to see there are hundreds of users looking to meet. Obviously dont know how many succeed but given so many try you'd have to guess they hook up. Like most people I miss sex, but I'd miss my family a whole load more, and wouldn't be able to live with myself if I caught it by being selfish and passed it on. Problem is the site take zero action even if you do report them, fact!

The thing is, how many of you will block those that have been meeting. Currently only a summary can be displayed, it may show “ meet” but lots will say it was just a socially distance meeting.

The truth will come out, when verifications are allowed and published.

Clearly some won’t publish anyway. ( They never have)

Some won’t publish verifications gained during Covid, but display pre Covid ones ( clearly hiding them )

Some will tell all.

For us, we will block any we see, even if they are on our friends list.
