Why can we seemingly test millions in developing countries wit 30 minute, no lab tests at less than a fiver a time but we here in a developed country with an advanced healthcare system can't seem to manage to test people who need it at all?

Both here and north of the border.

The words pissup and brewery come to mind

The science isn't difficult

Just needs resources and staff allocated to it

Here we try to do everything on the cheap

South Korea did it in a few weeks

I suspect you'll fint rt-pcr costs a hell ofva lot more than a fiver a go.

The real point is that if the wjll was there to end this quickly it could be done. Well past time we started asking ourselves why it's not being done and demanding real answers from our politicians instead of just meekly doing as we're told when it's blatant rubbish disguised as advice and backed with laws that have never seen a moment's parliamentary scrutiny.

It's just being launched, so opportunities will come for us to supplement our testing options. It's great that cheaper tests will make testing more of an opportunity in poorer countries around the world. Once approved in the UK, it could be purchased and deployed. And probably will be, as it's real, unless Johnsons pie in the sky thinking, based on an idea to get headlines

Developing countries are being used as guinea pigs for new tests and treatments. They will probably test the vaccines there too
