North West

None of this is the least bit surprising to anyone who knows anything about vaccine production and logistics of mass vaccination programmes. If it passes testing, we'll be damn lucky to have any vaccine by Christmas 2021.

Yet another scene added to the tragedy that is the UK government's response to this pandemic.

Shambolic. Incompetent. Fracical. There aren't enough words in the english language to adequately describe the level of ineptitude they've displayed at almost every step of the way.

Well, perhaps there is one.... criminal?

Seeing as there's already a flu vaccine shortage ,I hold out little hope for a covid vaccine. This Government have, on every level, let the public down.

The uk one is not the only vaccine being produced, If the Oxford one fails they will do what I think they have been planning to do and buy it in a wink, wink deal with another country

The article in the OP isn't about the Oxford vaccine failing, it's about there not being enough equipment and transport to get it out to everyone properly.

Definitely an issue if true, but not one that's impossible to solve with good organisation. Though with this government...

. Really don’t see how any government can be held reponsible for there not being a vaccine. Still it’s indicative of the “someone else must be to blame if i don’t get what i want” sort of attitude so prevalent these days.

The article is about the lack of infrastructure to get the vaccine if/when ones comes along, out to the population. That is very much down to the government. This virus has been known about since the beginning of the year.

I meant failing to reach production end... not failing as a treatment vaccine.

Govt has 6 supplier deals to buy from so far than can make it to production end is that not good organisation?

Or one of the other 7 very open deals they already have with other potential vaccines?
