This volume of dis and misinformation is a danger to public health and even more so in the face of a contagious pandemic. There is little difference between anti vaxxers, anti maskers, anti lockdown and q anon. Belief in one of these indicates you're susceptible to the others. We have already seen the impact of this firehose of lies had on democracies (remember cambridge analytica) Other social media platforms are now aware in their role of amplifying and spreading this black propaganda. One example of this bias was the London rally at the weekend were the BBC reported 'hundreds' of protesters when in fact there were many thou_ands. Presumably you'd catergorise the statement that 'COVID19 IS NOT CONSIDERED TO BE A HIGH CONSEQUENCE INFECTIOUS DISEASE' as being a conspiracy theory? The population is 342,117 according to Wikipedia. So out of all of those hundreds of thou_ands of people - 42 are infected. Since 17th August, there has been precisely 2 new covid 19 deaths. What is this plague of which you speak?? People across the globe were dying in their 1000's and worlds governments pretty much all slammed the brakes on and locked down. The death rate has now slowed. Question is, do they just take their foot off the brake and hope everything works just tickety boo, or do they ease it off bit by bit and see what happens? They're going with the latter because they just don't know - unlike a swingers forum where we all seem to...
