all loved up

I would hope most people would not be going to join a group of people who are not socially distancing.

The press are basically treating them like spoilt children. Ie not giving them the coverage they wanted.. although on a you tube video yesterday the crowd were very anti media so perhaps it's been in their best interest not to attend.

Extinction rebellion are in attendance though

35’000 from a population of 60+ million.

Irrelevant and not even newsworthy.

If 3.5 million were protesting, different story.

The berlin and London protests were covered in the guardian today and yesterday. Was covered by the bbc on their website and on the tv news. Probably everywhere else too. Seemed a strange coalition of many different groups.

Crowds of people, not socially distancing, I assume not wearing masks....think I'll give that a miss. Hope these gatherings don't cause too many deaths or further lockdowns.

This pandemic has educated me. I honestly did not appreciate how many people lack the intelligence, education, gumption or whatever to critically analyse information. Anyone who says today's education is crap need to take an introspective look, because I'm seeing people who attended school 30, 40+ years ago who clearly lack basic education. It's frightening, actually

It is frightening. Perhaps it's because most younger people have grown up (and in many cases make) the social media content so know not to pay too much attention to it. There was an interesting study performed by the pew research centre, which professes to be independent and non aligned. Which investigated where people "got their news and facts about covid from"...an astonishing 74 % from Facebook links and news sites and an even more astonishing 1 % from science or health sites. These are people who are trusted with making significant decisions for our country. The impact of ignorance and misinformation on our democracy is incredible.

Look at the grammar the news uses

Died WITH c19.. the guy died WITH his pyjamas on. Not FROM his pyjamas being on

So the numbers IMO are totally corrupt, as its all been said of dying WITH not from, and as i said at the start, masks areas are too random to be even taken seriously, so im now of the bollox to it. Unless its essential for my benefit, ie i went on a train and had to have one

If you genuinely, truly believe that a 90 odd year old lady is wearing a costume to hide their true lizard form and they drink blood to survive, then yes, they should be sectioned pending a psychological review and the formulation of a comprehensive treatment plan.

Go and read the answers people have posted on the million other threads with exactly the same questions being asked. There are people here providing accurate and informative information, in some cases from a direct medical background. Stop looking for a conspiracy where there isn't one.

"There was a photo on Twitter yesterday of the crowd in London.

I asked why they all looked as miserable as fuck.

Still waiting for a response

Zombies always look miserable?

No brain behind the eyes?

Maybe they were listening to David Ike.....why has that guy not been sectioned yet?

Section someone for having different opinions to you?

Genius.

Nah, I'm pretty sure he should be sectioned for preaching that the Queen is a supposed to be a fucking lizard! Opinion and delusion are 2 different things.

So if you think something daft you should be sectioned,?

Fucking hell they better get building a lot more.

If you genuinely, truly believe that a 90 odd year old lady is wearing a costume to hide their true lizard form and they drink blood to survive, then yes, they should be sectioned pending a psychological review and the formulation of a comprehensive treatment plan."

And if they are no risk to themselves or others ?

They still require medical attention and whilst they may not pose a risk directly themselves, they do pose a risk to wider society, as is eminently demonstrated by the endless conspiracy theory bollocks that gets posted on this forum. People hear it, people start repeating it (often with further inaccuracies as had been demonstrated with Chinese whispers), people change their behaviour to the detriment of others in order to fight our "secret oppressors" this is dangerous.

Spreading false conspiracy theories that results in someone catching an infection and dying is pretty bad, no? That's what can happen when people believe BS conspiracy theories.

Typhoid Mary was perfectly fine and happy in her work as a cook, not a care in the world. She was asymptomatic. But the people she killed through infecting them with typhoid fever? She was forcibly quarantined against her will for a reason. They tried asking her nicely to take a job that didn't involve her sticking her contaminated mitts in everyone else's dinner, but she just didn't believe she was the cause. So, for the greater good, she was incarcerated, because she refused to co-operate with reason and sense.

Sounds familiar......

You asked about David Ike, I have answered this. Flat earthers don't pose much of a risk as the general population is unlikely to be taken in by that particular drivel. Should they start aggressively trying to "convert" people or start to risk the public health due to their actions (such as outright refusals to wear masks for no reason other than because they won't be slaves to "the man" in the case of covid) then they, by your own definition, could, and I would argue should, be sectioned. And please note before someone tries to twist this, I am not saying all people who don't wear masks should be sectioned, only those that don't through a genuine, demonstrably ludicrous, delusion.

Conspiracy theorists need no such validation, they make their own from twisting truths or flat out lies. Removing them from the public for the care they are clearly in need of also helps stop them taking advantage of other vulnerable individuals and slows the spread of this junk.

Because there are some that it would cause issues with, unfortunately there are many who have taken the fact they may have mild asthma as a get out clause so they don't have to put up with a tiny inconvenience. Unfortunately there is t the time of facilities anywhere in the world right now to conduct an medical evaluation of every single member of the population to establish exactly who is truly exempt and who isn't.

If you are inclined to believe conspiracy theory bollocks, you aren't interested in having things explained to you, there are literally dozens of threads here where people post something, others respond with accurate and informed answers, which are then duly ignored cause "its a plan to control the masses, wake up sheeple" if you have already positioned yourself to distrust the government that totally, then nothing they say is going to be believed. Could the government explain things in clearer terms sometimes, absolutely, but a lot of the clarity you want is already out there. Many documents are made public, unfortunately they are in raw form, so unless you are either experienced or have the time to decipher them, they can appear somewhat obtuse.

If you genuinely, truly believe that a 90 odd year old lady is wearing a costume to hide their true lizard form and they drink blood to survive, then yes, they should be sectioned pending a psychological review and the formulation of a comprehensive treatment plan.

Some people believe harry Maguire is a good footballer.

I'm fairly sure you can only be sectioned if you became a danger to yourself or anyone else.

What about people who believe the earth is flat?section all them?

That argument is immensely flawed.

Then state the flaws.

If someone is telling people to not wear a mask.secctined.

People openly not wearing masks.

Nothing.

"

I was attempting to allow for those with genuine medical exemptions, perhaps I didn't make that clear enough. The point still stands, if you are genuinely deluded enough for your behaviour to risk the greater public health then in my opinion you should be admitted for treatment. I am not commenting on what is actually happening in society right now, I am answering your questions on whether I think they should be sectioned.

"Im no conspiricist, but there are too many things that dont add uo for me, and call me all the arseholes you like. Im old enough to make my own opinion

We can all walk through a shopping centre together, no mask needed.

2 go into a shop.. mask needed.

I get on bus with friend and see long lost friend. Mask needed

Go for a drink with long lost friend, with others from same bus.. no mask needed. Has this virus got the brains to know where we are as to not pass over

Go and read the answers people have posted on the million other threads with exactly the same questions being asked. There are people here providing accurate and informative information, in some cases from a direct medical background. Stop looking for a conspiracy where there isn't one.

Im not looking for a conspiracy.. but i said im old enough and wise/stupid enough to make my own choices, and come to my own conclusions.. the biggest question, why are the vulnerable ie, those with ashtma and other illnesses excempt from masks, when they are the highest risk. Surely a poxy blue mask from aldi isnt going to cause an attack. Arent the vulnerable the ones who probably need one more than most. Oohhh, you have a breathing ailment, so dont wear a mask and catch a virus that attacks your respitory system and kills you, or put a mask on, be a bit uncomfortable for your 20 minutes in the shop but live happy ever after

Because there are some that it would cause issues with, unfortunately there are many who have taken the fact they may have mild asthma as a get out clause so they don't have to put up with a tiny inconvenience. Unfortunately there is t the time of facilities anywhere in the world right now to conduct an medical evaluation of every single member of the population to establish exactly who is truly exempt and who isn't."

So theres no proof of who needs it and who doesnt, so for all anyone knows, no one needs it and we are all being taken for mugs

No, there is some proof that wearing a mask helps, therefore by default, people should wear them at the moment. There is unfortunately no easy way to medically identify who should not wear them, which it is why it is effectively operating on an honesty system, which in some cases is being abused.

If this year has shown me one thing its how biased and agenda driven the British media is. Its still a lot more transparent than most countries though.

I've seen it on BBC and sky.

It was front page news in most papers.....where have you been the last few days?

I went the shop before and didnt see it on the front page of most papers This post may say more about you than about our media...

I was gently hinting that you may not be very observant, or that your observations may be subject to confirmation bias. That's the polite version. The rude version is that you know what you're doing, and that you deliberately misrepresent the world in order to provoke debate - I believe the youth call this trolling.

Not much of a protest anyway it seems.

Too many groups with agendas running from covid denial to anti-semitism with antilockdown, antimask and right wing fascist groups joining in.

About the only 'anti' thing not represented was pasta.

Protesting against racism and climate change is not at all similar to protesting against lockdown/masks fuelled by right-wing conspiracy theories.

Most people at the protests you mentioned were wearing masks. Not only that, but the infection rate did not go up as a result of those protests.

This gathering of conspiracy nuts however? Hardly anyone's wearing a mask, therefore the likelihood of infection is much higher!

"I was there for a short while, accidentally. The media coverage or lack of it is a fair representation. What a bunch of shameful, childish, work-shy, pot smoking wasters most of them appeared to be. Pier Corbyn and the other speakers ranting complete and utter bollocks. It was a lunatics convention. I can only pity them! The Verve was right, the drugs really don’t work."

Genius."

This might go some way to help hum get sanctioned though.

During the interview with Terry Wogan, David Icke outlined how he believed he was the son of the Godhead. Speaking on the Late Late Show he explains this claim that he is the ‘Son of God’.

That took place in 1991.

facial recognition technology should be put up everywhere.

then if any of these so called protestors step out of line you can hunt them down later.

even if they covering the face at some point they will remove it as humans get cocky and think they wont get caught.

id not fine them. id make it completely impossible for them to get any for of credit, mobile phone contracts, internet provider and make it that they would have to inform any employer that they could insight criminal behaviour.

fuck them up completely.

"Thou_ands in London yesterday!

And again today and tomorrow! As much as BLM March in Washington!

Not one single news covering it???

But pretending it's few people protesting over fossil fuels!!!

Don't be fooled it's about covid lockdown,

Go into town and see for yourselves the fact media but covering this speaks volumes!

Pls

Everyone who went post about it!

"

Theres another protest planned for the 19th and 26th in london at Trafalgar square.

The one on the 19th will have doctors speaking and some nhs whistle blowers.

Prof dalores cahil

Dr cassie madej

Dr kevin corbet

Dr zak cox

mikieal Norfords MD

Dr niail mcCrae PHD

Dr sherri tenpenny

(To name a few before anyone asks for names of these so called doctors that will be speaking).

Apparently they are expecting the protest to be twice as big as the previous one.

I think I'll be attending one of them.

Be interesting to see the turn out and what the speakers will have to say.

What a bunch, most are anti vaxers..

Amongst them are people like tenpenny who supports discredited ideas that vaccines cause autism..

Cahill claims people are immune for life ten days after catching covid and in any case deaths can be prevented by vitamins..

Majek makes false claims that vaccines are designed to change human DNA and turn us into genetically modified organisms..

Corbett claims the virus has no scientific proof and labelled Dr Fauci in America as Hitler for his views on masks..

Mc Crae, well yes just an alt right extremist who is a professor of mental health and on camera verbally abusing people over brexit..

Top doctors and experts they are not but the gullible will swallow their dangerous nonsense no doubt..

Regardless as to what you just googled to get your little bias across they are still registered and have decades of years of experience between them which is more than any of you, which is more than the paid of fear mongering media.

They all have their own experience with this virus and their own data that shouldnt just be silenced or ignored because it goes against the narrative.

I think it will be a huge turn out.

Lets see if any of the newspapers or msm report on it and accurately.
