This time last year I woke one morning lay in bed thinking about the coming winter and a thought came into my head that a flu epidemic/pandemic might hit hard and it would be the baddest one yet.

Not sure how this thought came to me.

I remember telling a friend about it, he said don't be silly and laughed it off.

Just wondering if anyone else had the same thoughts.

I have a feeling that this time last year that the coronavirus was already among us. This probably is the second wave. A lot of people I know have said they had symptoms and had more then just a normal flu last year. It’s been around longer than we think.

I had flu in october followed by a viral cough that lasted until Feb.

My gp adamant it wasnt covid

I do the 49's, had some wins small to a couple of hundreds.

No, for some reason America was ringing bells with me at the time and something to do with lunar exploration with China.

Have they found something there and brought it back.

It was just after the anniversary of the Apollo mission, I remember seeing the footage of the astronauts isolated in a chamber.

I couldn't really make sense of it and the significance.

I hope he didn't say you were sounding a bit chesty.

Hope you arefeeling better, you probably did have it.

Medics and goverment were slow to pick up on it. Or hoped it would pass without fuss.

It turns out some Chinese scientests published a paper about a virus from bats in Feb 2019 was written late 2018.

No one batted an eyelid about it until October 2019 witn Event 201 (youtube)

This time last year I dreamt I was eating a giant marshmallow, woke up and noticed my pillow had disappeared, 1 year of poster campaigns, TV interviews , radio and newspaper ads later, I've finally resigned myself to never seeing my beloved pillow again.
