Bristol

Surely that's the kind of people who can't get away with it, as they are closely monitored...

Or am I being naive?

"Did all Manchester United players and staff isolate for two weeks on return from sevilla in spain,i think not."

UEFA set up bubbles for the tournaments so teams, staff etc never came into contact with anyone from outside them procedures. Also the game was played in Germany which is hosting the knockout games in the Europa League and Portugal for the Champions League.

Neutral venues were selected as home and away 2 legged system couldn't be scheduled. Also it limited travel. Exceptions were teams that had already played the 1st leg back in February though those were only a few matches.

The next round all followed a one game neutral venue format.

I am a football fan .

I knew the format.

Just can't understand why the OP would make such a comment with understanding the format lol.

Huddersfield /derby cinemas

Not Man Utd but football & covid related , , North East Counties League teams can now play friendlies but must be with no fans ( behind closed doors ) ,,Tonight Bridlington Town v North Ferriby ,, no fans allowed in the open air spread around the pitch , socially distancing ,,but the game was to be live streamed in the Bridlington Town Bar , the on site club bar ,so you could go to the ground and watch the game inside the bar on the big screen but not in the open air

North Bucks

After that showing they are probably going to hide away for a couple of weeks anyway.

Apparently their defence have been in self isolation all season.

Didn't the fans send them to Coventry after such a poor effort?

It’s ok mate I thought a Manchester United fan coming from Manchester itself was a bit of a stretch.

Newcastle and Gateshead

if the question is an honest one then...

a) they wouldn't have needed one since they were playing in germany....

b) they wouldn't not have needed one anyway as the government have issued a quarentine exemption for international sportsperson who are competing overseas in their normal course of duty......

where you may find there is going to be an issue isn't football.... but potentially rugby and their uncompleted european tournaments... where the UK has an exception for sportspeople travelling in or out, ireland and france don't! so you may find they can't finish their tournaments without creating some sort of huge backlog to their domestic competitions... and the five nations!
