Don’t get me started on the climate change denial.

Why not? You have the number one fan of climate change denial on your thread

750 000 deaths from Covid-19 pales in significance in comparison to the 200 million lives at risk from climate change.

We have a thread for the virus, but no thread for climate change. Like I said on another thread, mankind as a species is unable to react to disaster until it hits us in the face.

Every year, around 9 million people die of hunger, according to the international relief agency Mercy Corps. That's more than the death toll of AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis combined

Exactly. Yet the world goes into lockdown about a virus that 99% of people survive. And of the people that are being logged as "Covid death" how many are actually dying from the illness? Even fewer still. Death will come to us all eventually, just accept it.

I remember when they said one in four would suffer from cancer. Now they say it’s one in two.
