Peres tested positive but was asymptomatic. He could have still passed this on to others who could have developed serious symptoms.

I thought that was really tragic. People with some genuine grievances against ‘the state’ are whipped into a state of hysteria where any intervention is seen as an intrusion by the likes of Trump and Bannon.

Appears rare = extremely rare? You’d need a proper source.

No they didn't. They clarified it because unsurprisingly, that news raised a few eyebrows. They didn't retract the statement though and backed their data.

The issue is the more the virus is researched, the more it can be understood. What worked 2 or 3 months ago, might not now.

The guy who published the research you are referring to pointed out in response that it can't be concluded that asymptomatic people don't spread. He accused WHO of causing confusion.

Gotcha

No wonder anyone that posts somthing that goes against or questions main stream media gets labled a tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theorist when asked to link source but they cant.

Ive seen people get in trouble for posting links to sites that are definitely not spam or hosting spyware/malware but just didnt fit main steam media narrative i believe one link was from thr BMJ (british medical journal).

I would ask that there is a re_iew in your rules on what can and can not be linked but only allowing "recognised" links to "bbc, the sun, sky, cnn etc is a bit silly in my opinion.

The reason only recognised sites are allowed is that I could set up a web site, purporting to be a news site, post anything I like online, no matter how ridiculous and someone somewhere would believe it. That wouldn't make it true, but it could spread fear, mis information or down right dangerous lies. This would lead to a free for all and a total degradation of the quality of content. You can believe what you like from some of the weird and wonderful "truth" sites out there, doesn't make them right and it doesn't mean any site owner is obligated to allow that junk to propagate on their platform.

If you let a free for all start, that idiot in the attic gets multiplied by thousands of idiots (believe me, there really are that many on the internet), the site gets flooded with total junk and anything even remotely approaching a debate falls apart. Main stream sites absolutely have their own agenda and paymasters using them to spin a _iew, but rarely are they outright harmful and recognised bodies are ultimately accountable to regulators and the courts. Joe blogs in his mother's basement isn't. As I said before, no news site is perfect, but compared to some out there, even the worst mainstream sites are great.

Also why are people on here using extremes like guys in attic talkimg about aliens and 5g.

Ive seen countless medical professionals both on you tube and other social media getting silenced and posts removed when trying to bring some facts and truths out about whats been going on through out all this that the main stream media isnt telling us.

More and more nurses are finslly speaking out and telling us how their wards was empty and they had very little to do.

But you won't see that on the news so you will all say its nonsense.

Well thanks to social media people can tell and share their own truths, i suggest you start searching for around for these people speaking out because ill tell you one thing you aint going to get informed of anything by watching the bbc thats for sure.

Why would I actively seek out individual people who I don't know from Adam and assume that what they are saying is either the truth or indicative of the country as a whole? I dare say there have been instances where some medical staff had quiet periods, however personally I know a number of medical professionals who have been doing overtime and then some simply to try to cope with more than triple the normal capacity in their ICU wards. Social media is full of a lot more opinions than it is facts.

In the height of this covid stuff bbc had a video clip of an ICU ward in one of the hospitals in london.

A day later sky news had the exact same video clip but saying an ICU ward in new york.

A week later CNN (think it was them or may be fox) had the exact same video footage but now its an ICU ward in italy.

A young very fit man, recovers from covid, from the very beginning we have been told that it doesn't effect younger people so much, that it will be people who also have underlying health problems that will suffer the most... It would be expected that a young sportsman, who is fit and healthy with no underlying problems would have the best chance of recovery.

OK, the rules are basically to let you know you can't post any old link and to limit what you can post for the reasons set out. It hasn't been introduced for Covid, they have been the rules for a long time, the mod was just pointing out the rules.

If you don't like the links that are allowed don't use them.

Sorry but no just no.

If the news is reporting on an incident then i expect its footage to be truth and not a "stock image/footage"

If ICU wards the world over was being massively overrun like the media portrayed it to be then they wouldnt need to use stock images/videos of anything.

Let me take you back to the good ole social media of doctors/nurses that after these videos was on the news, took there own video footage in their hospitals and in wards showing a very different story before having their posts blocked/removed

Anyways watch what you want, believe what you want.

It will all come out soon enough.

You are aware that they don't just let TV camera crews into ICU wards full of critically sick patients in the middle of a global pandemic!? Not even all hospital staff can just waltz in and out of those areas for the safety of both themselves and the patients.

There's a good reason why they wouldn't let numerous tv crews wander around ICU's during a pandemic.

On a side note it transpires that the Welsh government have registered any hospitalisation suspected as having Covid in their daily hospitalisation figures.

The UK government’s website produces data on cases, admissions and deaths daily for the devolved nations of the UK (see Staging data)

Yet the data in Wales for patients admitted to hospital is concerning. The number of patients admitted in Wales is higher than in England on several days? (see the table)

How can this be? The population of England is 18 times greater (56 Million) than the 3.1 million people who live in Wales. Also, the number of patients in hospital in Wales is one-tenth that of England. (see the second table) Likewise, ICU beds in Wales are also one-tenth that of England. (see here for the data)

The gov.uk site informs me that the “figures are not comparable as Wales include suspected COVID-19 patients while the other nations include only confirmed cases.”

This weakness in the data makes comparisons impossible; it also creates concerns about the overall accuracy of the data provided by the gov.uk site. The number of patients admitted in Wales with covid is, therefore, inflated.

Well obviously it works on the masses i guess but thankfully not everybody.

Oh please.

It's just stock footage of an ICU, the same way that they use stock pictures of Winston Churchill or Mick Jagger.

That's just sensible expedience, not evidence of a conspiracy.

Maybe then sent in a drone? Maybe they handed a camera to someone who was allowed in? There are simple solutions to these problems especially when that footage might give the public an insight into the dangers.

Anyway, want to explain this? Faked?

"Peres tested positive but was asymptomatic. He could have still passed this on to others who could have developed serious symptoms.

You know this very well

WHO have been saying for months that asymptomatic transmission is extremely rare.

Really? And you can provide a source for this?"

. Oh brilliant. Well obviously the WHO apparently.

Any other source apart from the daily fail?

Appears rare = extremely rare? You’d need a proper source."

. Is that because you don’t want to believe it ? Could ruin so many peoples lame excuse for lazing around.

Are you seriously suggesting people have been flying drones into an ICU unit and no one noticed!? Even the tiniest ones are plenty loud enough to hear from the other side of a room.

No, I have no interest in trying to pull apart YouTube videos where there is absolutely no way of verifying any of the circumstances in which it was shot. Neither you nor I can say if it's fake or not.

Sorry to burst your weird little bubble, but yes.

There is absolutely no need or sense to get fresh footage every time something is mentioned.

It would be dangerous, long winded and inconvenient for thise on either side of the camera.

If you can't understand or accept that then that's your problem, not everyone elses.

There you go folks reading this.

Ive asked 2 posters on here in order to have a proper debate about this (the main stream media and its programming and lies and manipulation) to go and watch a documentary called out of shadows, which addresses this exact very thing about the content we consume when watching what they put out there for us to watch.

Neither guy is interested in watching it as before they have even began to watch it they are labelling it conspiracy theory nonsense (without even watching it for crying out loud).

So they choose to remain uninformed and they choose to carry on arguing with me about it on here when i have said if they go watch it i will happily debate with them calmly and reapectfully on a even keel as we will both have seen it and then can debate about what the main stream media does.

They don't even have to watch it now, any time they want to all they have to say is I'll check it out later or when ever then get back to you.

But nope they want to keep arguing with me and throwing insults about somthing they havent seen and refuse to watch.

Thats the mentality people that are informed outside of mainsteam media have to deal with.

As people will not go beyong their bbc, sky news, cnn etc to get other information thats out there but doesnt serve the purpose or agenda of the narrative the MSM are putting out.

Also when you say "shit like that" do you even know what its about? You probably don't even have one iota of what the documentary entails so until you've watched it please do me the pleasure of stfu.

When you have we can then both debate it on a even keel.

We will never debate on an even keel, I live in the real world with real people.

Sighs.

Yeah keep on telling yourself that my friend.

If anyone is reading this that has seen the documentary what did you think of it or if you havnt seen it but after reading this conversation decide to id love to hear your thoughts on it so we can share our opinions as the guy above is a lost cause.

"

Share opinions? I and a number of other users shared our opinions about this the last time you posted it and had the post removed I seem to recall. It's nonsense, and claiming "cognitive dissonance" all the time doesn't make it any more true.

Your whole reality you think you are living in is going to be blown wide open within the next 12 months.

The world you are living in is not the world you think it is.

Your cognitive dissonance won't know whats hit it.

I'd start researching into things now so its a bit less of a blow for you.

Ooooh spooky shit doesn't scare or impress me pal.

The Matrix was just a film, get over it.

Go start with a documentary called "out of shadows".

You might learn somthing.

No thanks.

Ahhh ignorance is bliss isnt it.

See you wont even try will you.

You are probably scared that your cognitive dissonance will shatter into a million pieces.

You should at least go watch it so you can debate with me properly on here.

But saying your not willing to even go watch somthing says it all really."

Copypasta but still relevant to this enlightened smoothbrain nonsense:

"Please stop saying you "researched it '. You didn't research anything and its highly probable that you dont even know how to do so. Did you compile a literature re_iew and write abstracts on each article? Or better yet, did you collect a random sample of sources and perform independent probability statistics on the reported results? No? Did you at least take each article, one by one and look into the source ( that would be the author, publisher and funder), then critique the writing for logical fallacies, cognitive distortions and plain inaccuracies. Did you ask yourself why this source might publish these particular results? Did you follow the trail of references and apply the same source of scrutiny to them? No? Then you didn't fucking research anything. You read or watched a video, most likely with little to no objectivity. You came across something in your algorithm manipulated feed, something that lived with your implicit biases and served your confirmation bias, and subconsciously applied your emotional filters and called it proof. Scary."

The ironic thing is that nearly everyone who goes on about 'cognitive dissonance' all the time are clearly the ones out of step with everyone else.

I think that every time someone eats a jelly baby, an angel dies - therefore it's perfectly reasonable for me to stop everyone eating jelly babies...

"Peres tested positive but was asymptomatic. He could have still passed this on to others who could have developed serious symptoms.

You know this very well

WHO have been saying for months that asymptomatic transmission is extremely rare.

Really? And you can provide a source for this?. Oh brilliant. Well obviously the WHO apparently. "

Anyone can say that WHO said whatever they want. I asked for a link to the source of the claim. Simple.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8401121/Spread-coronavirus-people-no-symptoms-appears-RARE-official-says.html

Any other source apart from the daily fail?

Appears rare = extremely rare? You’d need a proper source.. Is that because you don’t want to believe it ? Could ruin so many peoples lame excuse for lazing around. "

WHO backtracked. The guy who published the research stated that WHO had caused confusion because the research did not state transmission was very rare in asymptomatic case.

You can't do BS like that and expect people to just trust and follow along.

Well obviously it works on the masses i guess but thankfully not everybody.

Oh please.

It's just stock footage of an ICU, the same way that they use stock pictures of Winston Churchill or Mick Jagger.

That's just sensible expedience, not evidence of a conspiracy.

Maybe then sent in a drone? Maybe they handed a camera to someone who was allowed in? There are simple solutions to these problems especially when that footage might give the public an insight into the dangers.

Anyway, want to explain this? Faked?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrfRs0WeShU

Are you seriously suggesting people have been flying drones into an ICU unit and no one noticed!? Even the tiniest ones are plenty loud enough to hear from the other side of a room.

No, I have no interest in trying to pull apart YouTube videos where there is absolutely no way of verifying any of the circumstances in which it was shot. Neither you nor I can say if it's fake or not."

I was pointing out that there are ways of getting cameras into ICU that dont require a camera crew. I certainly wasn't suggesting that drones were used to sneak unnoticed! Jeez, learn to read!

The youtube video was showing a ward with seriously I'll people and the medical staff inter_iewed referring to covid. My sister was on a covid ward. I guess she was in on this mass conning of the public..
