Sunniest Exeter...

"No"

Correct. I think clubs are in the same category as nightclubs, so when they open, then you can get excited...

Some clubs are open for distanced socials but swinging parties will not be taking place in clubs until social distancing is dropped altogether. If you can fuck and socially distance at 1 metre plus, please do share your methods as we'd love to hear them... we are desperate to open hahaha xxxx

The issue is there’s no safe way to meet anyone unless you had a Perspex screen with a hole in it dividing the bed (or room). I’m not sure that’s what many would want from swinging. Although Czech glory hole shops in seem to do well according to PHub!

Central

Outdoors functions, with social distancing and other current measures, are inherently safer than indoors gatherings. Clubs that are functionally equivalent to pubs, especially if using outdoor areas, are permitted by some authorities now.

Steam rooms, night clubs and other sexual venues are probably the closest to clubs for comparison. Sports such as wrestling, could also be a similar type of engagement between people, though typically not producing all of the genital contact, nor bodily fluids, that swingers activities can produce.

I'm inclined to think that, as essential as clubs are, that they would probably create a much increased health risk for staff and guests, if clubs operated as they did, at the moment.

Seems a little weird to me that strip clubs can open in Oct as well as football stadiums with no singing (that is 30,000 plus people together) and indoor music venues but nightclubs or sexual activity clubs (as they are calling it) have not been given any dates

Sexual activity clubs (really? ) and nightclubs are probably deemed to be less likely to adopt social distancing rules than other venues.

I've never actually been to a football match, but I really don't get why they're opening the stadiums...

Yes, Xtasia has been openfor a while, as have probably around 10 clubs in the UK. They're not, to my knowledge, operating as they did, at the moment - laws insist on social distancing. Those that could regenerate as social venues, similar to bars, as I covered, have managed to get approval. Others, such as The Townhouse, decided to wait until social distancing requirements are to be removed - we don't know when the government may do that though.
