We find out side effects from years of testing so I think I will wait.

People who take it could be worse off in a couple of years time when it could cause serious health issues.

if I knew it had been properly tested and gone thru all the trials required then maybe, but no until then i wouldn't touch it with a barge pole and it wouldn't matter who made the vaccine, russia, china,uk, its about proper testing being completed before its given to people is the important bit in my opinion.

I wouldn't take any vaccine without it passing our established processes and having informed and educated myself about it. Thus I'd refuse the Russian 1 just now

You have no idea how close the Russians really are.

Any UK vaccine will be properly tested and certified, with as much transparency as commerciality will allow.

Can you say the same for this Russian vaccine?

I'll wait to see the process through regulatory processes I believe to work more independently and more in accordance with the science.

If it can pass those at a level we accept in countries like the UK, then I'd likely take it.

If it works in Russia and there is nothing else than yes I’d try it

But I’d insist that it was made by British chemists according to the Russian formula and not bought in wholesale from Russia.

Boris is an arse and quite the liar, but thankfully he doesn't have the control over his country that Putin does.

It might be pointless. According to some Covid can't kill you.

It's not like the Cold War, but they're not necessarily the most trustworthy country out there, and their approval of the drug violates the norms of drug approval.

St Neots/Wisbech

The swine flu vaccine was pushed through quicker despite the headlines about the dangers of using it.

The UK approved it regardless and people instantly felt better because they were told its safe and gave it to the children in schools.

I suspect that because its Russia based people are instantly calling bs and danger, even though this country has done the same.

Erm no, I think I'll take my chances.

They wo t even let WHO know what the vaccine entails or the test it. The WHO and relevant bodies have said Russia have cut some many corners for this vaccine, but that's not to say it won't work, they could have got lucky with it. Either way old time will tell with all the vaccines regardless of where they are made. There is so much preassure to get a working vacci e who's to say what side effects there are or long term impact it may have. History is littered with vaccine problems and controversy, Im a believer in vaccination too, just properly tested and proven long term ones.

The idea of the flu vaccine is that people don’t get both that and COVID this coming winter.

Don't worry, I get particularly bad at writing, spelling etc when tired. I've not seen what you have written but we usually get the general meaning of posts, without having to read each word.

The greater the uptake of the flu vaccines, the closer we could get to herd immunity this winter, which will reduce the impact on hospitals, as well as people who may suffer covid-19 and flu, both of which could weaken them and worse

There is a website called www.drugs.com it lists 24000 prescription drugs and over the counter medicines, it gives a wealth of information regarding side effects, known interactions with other drugs etc.I have copied and pasted what it says about Pandemrix, which was rushed out after the swine flu, it was withdrawn after 6 million doses were administered. as you will see. There was a lot of narcolepsy after the vaccine was rolled out, GSK admitted hiding safety information, there are court cases ongoing still. Oh Sir Patrick Vallance worked for GSK at the time, so he will know all this,

ps, All vaccine manufactures in the UK and USA are indemnified against vaccine injury, also every major vaccine manufacturer have long criminal records for fraud deceit and hiding safety info. So no vaccines for me, thank you

Pandemrix

Reading up on it, seems that about 100 people were affected by narcolepsy....
