Could you point me in the direction of it, as nothing mentioned in this thread is a positive to come from any of his actions. Of course the economy has improved, lockdown is ending. Boris is a clown, but I never blamed him for the economic down turn, that was because of covid and no PM would have been able to prevent that, but don't start implying that he's some sort of great PM for the economy recovering a fraction of it's former level.

"Hmmmm I don't see anywhere that I used Boris's name. But regardless GOOD NEWS is GOOD NEWS . . . like it or not. " No you didn't, I was replying to the person who did, and if you reread the whole quoted text you'll see who did. There is often a bounce back after a severe fall in the markets, after a 20% fall last month any rise is good news, we're still 18.2% down on the month before last, so it's not exactly great cause for celebration just yet.

Sometimes we get a whole laptop screen page of quotes and there is no clue as to which part is being answered by the poster.

" See we just can't process good news stories.... Must.... Add..... Conspiracy..... Boris...... Trump...... Police...... Cummings.....brexit...... NArghhh " I truly think that there is a serious issue here with the way the pandemic is re-wiring peoples thinking. I have read and listened to more than a few 'around the table discussions' on radio and internet sites dealing with an emerging issue of Lockdown Syndrome - were many people are loosing a sense of reality and perspective about anything positive. In a crazy fooked up World like we have right now - I'm personally thinking that the positive is the only thing we have to keep us focused on a future where we all come out sane.

Its a f sight easier to predict we will have clouds than we will have sunshine... Last night visited a friend to drop a present in for his 50th...5 of us sat round 2m distancing and making sure we didn't encroach.. What have we become! You get my vote for minister for positivity

"It will leave a real and proper mark on our National Psychology. One which I think that we will be dealing with for years to come. So sad that a birthday has to be that way. But at least in some way you got to celebrate it. " Unlike the first 4 weeks where it felt like we were a team all pulling together... Now It feels a lot like there are some serious real and imaginary wedges being driven between people. The good thing is... (this is where the minister inserts good news!?)

"Just think how much better it would have been had they put us in lockdown when they should have. Less deaths, less impact on NHS. Now that would have been better news. As others have said, it could only go one way after the lockdown, but we are starting from a worse point than we should have been. " But we are also starting in stronger position that we could have been, there's always two sides to a coin.

People are responsible for their own actions.

Not even mentioning Brexit! Haven’t they done well with their 10 years in charge - if they hadn’t been in power, the economy might be a bit smaller, but a lot more people would be alive now and we would be happier

You don't know what another party would have done that might have caused worse problems. Also, check which other parties fucked over the NHS. It's not the case of one party being good and one being bad, they all have their own agendas.
