We think it is and our adventure is on hold for the foreseeable future which is shit but alas my family needs me alive more than my wife needs a orgasm.

Stay frosty out there everyone.!!!!!

It's hard to kiss from 1m away as per guidelines.

When lockdown is over (eventually) then we'll be snogging I'm sure.

It really is going to depend on what happens in the future.

I'm high risk, I have family members who are high risk. It's not worth dying for sex, so I'm not meeting or planning to meet any time in the near future.

But six months, a year down the line? Who knows?

I think you have to wrap your faces in clingfilm, unless its part of your Tuesday social bubble and you haven't a cheese and pickle sandwich test...

The rate of infection is alarming to say the least. This is not the time for meeting strangers. Specially those who are symptomatic. They are the silent spreaders. Infact they don't know they have the virus.Caution is the name of the game, My mom is 90 years old. Very frail. Best bet is to abstained temporarily pending a vaccine for prevention.

North Wales

It's a numbers game, really. In wales, less than 5% of the population have tested positive for it (of those tested) and less than 1% have died in connection to the virus. We're down to 10 - 15 new cases a day, with some days seeing 0 deaths from it.

I think the potential, lasting harm from loneliness or lack of human contact is now greater than the potential risk of contracting covid-19 and dying from it.

If you're at greater risk from the virus (or are in contact with those who are) then obviously your stakes are higher and you make your choice.

If England's infections and deaths get down to those stats you have in Wales, then I might consider interacting a bit more; not before then.

You do realise less than 0.05% of people are considered to have covid. % of population wise England and Wales are rather similar!

No not at all.

I realise that 0.43% have been infected, and approx 15% of those infected have died from it.

Also the previous poster said: "We're down to 10 - 15 new cases a day, with some days seeing 0 deaths from it..." - referring to Wales."

Those figures above are definitely NOT the case in England.

Who says 'not kissing' is the end of the world?

And is kissing the way the human race reproduces?

Guess who needs to grow up?

In that case, many of us face a future where we never get to hug or kiss anyone ever again.

Not a very nice thought really.

I think fast home testing will be the answer more than a vaccine. I read about a trial of a 20 second breath test like a home breathalyser. One of those in the morning or before you're expecting to be in close contact with people would give you some confidence. Then you can self isolate if you test positive.

I always hated kissing anyway. So overrated and detest seeing people kissing in public. It reminds me of two earthworms mating. .

Not for me I am afraid.. it was never hygienic and never will be...

And medical professionals kissing is even worse... They know the risks..

Just my opinion
