"This explains alot with the mrs having asthma I thought she would suffer with covid. She flew through it. Me on the other hand being fit and healthy struggled for 3 weeks with it. She takes 2 kinds of inhaler. 1 in the morning and the other when ever she is feeling breathless. " If you get it again - borrow the steroid inhaler.

"Which haler is it?? Seritide?" A clip from the link Distinct from the familiar blue Ventolin inhalers, many people with long-term serious asthma and other lung issues use a brown inhaler that delivers a dose of corticosteroid budesonide, sold commercially as Pulmicort, among other names.

"Which haler is it?? Seritide?" As long as it contains a steriod one. Just search the manufacturer name and check if it's steroid based. Salbutamol is not - while Braltus is, for example.

"It seems strange though that many asthmatics have been sent the warning high risk letters and been told to shield because we are said to be at great risk of being very seriously ill or of dying from covid-19. I'm on 4 inhalers plus a tablet too, none are the one in the trial though.... typical lol" As someone who has severe asthma and take steriods, I would rather be extra careful. As steroids are an immune suppressant I suppose it could of gone either way, though when viruses become severe they always up the steroids, so there is some logic there.

" If you read the story through you will see that they have noted that. Yet they still note that people who take steroid based inhalers have greater resilience to Covide 19.

"Which haler is it?? Seritide?" Similar to a Flixotide I think. Seratide is a Flixotide/Ventolin mix for longer term prevention.

There are other steriod inhalers used by people with long-term serious asthma. I am in that catogory and i take a pinky, purple inhaler, a white one, a grey one plus the blue ones and i also take a tablet too.
