Lincoln city centre is fucking manic (well it was at 8 when i passed through); already loads of d*unken twats all over Police vans on the brayford and High street !

glad i was in the car and passing through - i dread to think what the bigger cities are like tonight.

Which pubs? Asking for a friend

On a serious note, neither me nor my friends are that fussed. Might take a few more weeks and the return of some sunshine before we dust off that cobweb feeling.

And mine. 2 local pubs opened over the weekend, I went both Sat and Sun. All tables were full, and as I'm new here, I am not sure what it was like before, but I suspect that there used to be 4 tables for every one still there. Everyone kept their distance, it was friendly and people talked from a few metres away.

A lot of shops have opened up around me, but there are still quite a few still closed up. I pray they can reopen. No one deserves to lose their small business.

Falkirk

Where i am I don't think the hype managed to sway most people through the doors.

There were less people than I expected, and those that were out followed the guidlines.

But speaking to my neighbours and some others, they can't see point of paying for the privilege to sit in a restricted environment.

A guy gets his test results of covid on Monday and goes back into the pub he was in Saturday to tell staff

Why would you go into a pub if you were waiting on a test result he put everybody at risk for a pint because he couldn’t wait 2 days just baggers belief

He should be sent to jail for endangering life of people same goes for anyone else awaiting covid test results

This pub is very close to me, that's not how it happened.

Both the guy who tested positive and the landlord behaved appropriately, responsibly and swiftly. No one should be jailed (apart from the govt for the omnishambles they've made of it all).

The guy Had just the test done and waiting for result yet he went to the pub and put other all others at risk I’m sure they all wanna pull his head out of his arse

Why the fuck would any one do that to people is beyond me

Just for a beer the guy wants jail if anyone dies because he couldn’t wait for a pint

What a complete selfish twat

No, he had the test done on Sunday, AFTER finding out someone he'd been in contact with had tested positive. He was asymptomatic. Stop jumping to the wrong conclusions.

". did he not know how to use a phone? "

?????

Yes. After his mate rang him on his phone on Sunday morning, he used his phone to arrange a test. He used his phone to ring the landlord, and he received his test results via text on his phone on Monday morning.

We went for a meal last weekend.

It was lovely, very relaxed, no fear & well organised.

It was a small local village pub so easier to organise I would imagine. Will be going again this weekend

Left it until last night. Fairly full (for given regs). Very well organised with table service and one way system. Was good to be back in familiar surroundings.
