Was there an announcement over night? Seen a status saying they might throw a party as "coronavirus is over". Had two offers to meet today in first 15 minutes. Thought I was upto date but it seems I missed the memo

We are going to be so f-cked. And not in the fun way. We already have one of the highest death rates in the world per capita. Went to the garden centre today - only saw one person wearing a mask. Yeah. Me in a mirror.

Scientists are saying it's morphed into a new strain and it is even more contagious than the original. I really wish this was all some big hoax, but it isn't. The USA is imploding. We're next if people don't wake up and start acting like their fellow human beings matter.

I think I missed the memo to! Just got back from work (retail) our maximum no of customers allowed in has gone from 40 to......120!! When I questioned it I was told it's because social distancing has gone down to a metre!!! Ermmmm, no that's only if people wear masks

Face palm!!

If others want to meet up,there's not much you can do about it,except refuse to attend it asked,or don't ask to attend.

I initially thought that (linear) but then thought about radius - where some aisles could only have one person width ways, now they can have two (in the odd warehouse type stores, maybe 3).

I thought it was 1 metre if you can't do 2 metres but if you can do 2 metres then stick to 2 metres

I noticed all the shops change around here when 1 metre was mentioned, no longer queuing to go in but a massive queue to pay!

You're not wrong, but I was providing a theory why one shop has chosen to go from 40 to 120.

It’s still 2 metres. In a scenario where 2 metres is not possible, then you can do 1 metre + extra measures like face masks etc.

It’s interesting shops have changed in your area .

I’m in a big shopping centre right now in my local area, and 2 metres is still being applied, and people still queuing up to go into the shops.

not quite....... maths coming (don't switch off!)

see... 2m by 2m give you an area of 4 metres squared..... if it goes down the 1m by 1m that is an area of 1 metre squares... therefore you can fit 4 lots of 1 metre squared into a 4 metre squared space....

so... in theory they could have gone up from 40 to 160 if they really wanted to push the space...

and here ends todays maths lesson.....

I think the coronavirus has been going on for a lot longer than we know.

And it seems that people online and in the news are saying things how they want to be perceived and not how they actually are.

If there is one thing I've learned from this, it is not to pay to much attention to the news because it is over exaggerated.

According to the real experts this Pandemic is far from over and the British public should be very wary and take precautions and advice very seriously from these experts especially with bungling Boris at the helm of one of the worst COVID19 records of all nations. It is only by lockdown measures and social distancing that countries have been able to control the spread of it. It is shitty times but only by adhering to the rules will some sort of normality return with work places opening up and leisure facilities being available to all. It is only the uneducated and selfish that put all this at risk.

Yeah start mixing with rules adhered to follow advice and only by doing that will we get back to some sort of normality and this is the message from experts and relayed by the government. Unfortunately this government has not displayed a clear and concise messages to the public and this is problematic when the bulk of the population have no respect for whoever is relaying these messages
