The government has published its list of 59 countries and territories that people can arrive from in to the UK, without needing to quarantine.

Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Greece and many more. Sorry can't copy and paste.

Good news for people to get away. I just hope it doesn't cause our hosts problems

So much for them only allowing countries with a lower infection rate than ours!

It's been changed a lot according to Scotland, even until the last minute.

The USA remains on the red list, where travellers still need to quarantine, thank goodness.

At least the country is now permitting travel. Boris Johnsons father travelled to Greece earlier this week, despite the advice of essential travel only.

I've put this up, as I know some people are eager to book.

This list doesn't mean that you aren't still subject to any quarantine or restrictions in the other countries. New Zealand is in the list but they're not really that welcoming of visitors.

Only half the story this.

We may be cleared at our end in not having to quarantine, but, it’s pretty pointless having this agreement when you still have to quarantine and isolate yourself on arrival in Greece & Cyprus...

I wouldn't be so sure. I have a friend who runs a restaurant on Zante and they are prepared for the long haul this year. They have put their garden to grow stuff and have bought some chickens. Sounds quite Idyllic if you ask me.

There tourism has fallen through the floor, mainland Greece might survive but the islands and such like won't recover without help, which is where we come into the equation..the Brits spend the most when on holiday and locking us out won't help them...

Tourism in Greece accounts for over 20% of GDP. That’s huge!

Sturgeon has done nothing but play politics throughout this whole pandemic. Sadly the Scottish media don’t dare scrutinise her or she gets angry and her cult following inundate the journalists with a barrage of anglophobic abuse via social media

It was a quick post to highlight that the country list was released. No air-bridges in place and it is just the England position.

It's been suggested that Cyprus, for example, may welcome flights from August. That said, each country is fully at liberty to impose whatever conditions they want to on us, changing as they see fit.

This list may now allow insurance cover, which isn't possible whilst the government doesn't support travel, as standard.

The locals are restless, and there are grumblings regarding her attitude towards Boris is getting childish.

I'm actually a Sturgeon fan but it's seems she is just playing tit for tat.

This weekend will be the decider.

If the infection and death rate start to climb again, a second lockdown is the only option.

The region is Scotland with the lowest infection rates has been advised, not ordered advised (more mixed messages from Wee Chuckie but that’s bother argument all together) to continue with the 5mile travel restriction.

You’ll not be surprised to to learn that the aforementioned region is Dumfries & Galloway. It must be purely coincidental that D&G is on the English border and has been a Conservative stronghold for many years.

Just another anecdote added to the shit show of her handling of this pandemic ie killing care home residence, Nike cover up and lack of ppe to name just three.

If Westminster says black she’ll say white and vice versa. On the Sunday evening that Boris Johnson made the second public address and said “be alert” Sturgeon was very vocal in saying she didn’t know what “stay alert” meant. A mere 18 hours later she asked the public to “remain vigilant” you couldn’t make it up. A quick look at “vigilant” in the dictionary will say “alert”

She’s had a car crash. The media are too soft in scrutinising her as she often throws her toys out of the pram when anyone dares to question her at her briefings and said journalist is then cyber attacked by her cult following.

It’s a dreadful state of affairs and make no mistake about it. She along with Freeman, Leitch and Calderwood has blood on her hands.

This may show the darker side of Sturgeon.

I'm just pissed off I can't visit my parents.

She had Westminster by the balls at one point, but I feel she is now just playing the waiting game in the hope that something will emerge from Brexit.

Good accurate post of what it must be like to be a scot at the moment.

What a mess.

First we had the quarantine that they were slow to implement, then they said they'd do air bridges.

Now we have countries on this list which still have quarantine restrictions in place for U.K. arrivals.

We also see a plan to let residents of 60 or more countries into England without any reciprocal arrangements.

Portugal is excluded, yet we have seven times their infection rate.

Who's making these decisions. It's nonsensical.

The Portuguese are right to be frustrated given their current infection rate, Boris will probably u turn as he did in a 24 period over domestic cricket..
