27th June 2020. Around 1000 people a week in the UK are still dying from Coronavirus, the toll now seems to be rising again, and yet some Clubs are planning to re-open. What's your opinion?

They are a business like any other and as long as they stick to social distance requirements, I say let them go with it.

What club would risk losing their licence because they were reported to the council for breaking social distance rules... They may as well shut their doors for good now.

Clubs are opening that have a bar/outdoor areas,as they can be social clubs for swingers,to meet up social distancing

all above board,legal with NO sex rule in the club

The only thing with this,is alot of us have been to swinging socials at pubs/nonplay venues,and know it's the after social naughtiness that happens frequently at their accommodation/nearby hotels,that clubs will be covertly encouraging,no fault of the clubs themselves,just swingers are known to be a horny bunch

If they are opening purely as social events and sticking to council guidelines then there no different to any other pub that's opening

Wonder if airports will receive the same criticisms when they get to open and wonder how many are still looking forward to get away this year

Really can't see an airport being able to social distance once open for tourism

The clubs that have been closed deserve to open when they are given permission to. Owners have invested heavily, including paying bills whilst closed, changing their infrastructure for reopening and a lot more.

If the public go to a non-swinging venue and shag strangerz because of it, then only the individual people a responsible. The same is true for a swinging venue. Clubs should be free to and deserve to reopen as quickly as possible and we should make it easier for them to stay in business. It's good for mental health for us too.

I would imagine that if some clubs are thinking of opening up they would be following the same rules as everyone else

With every person that dies the "toll" will go up

However the death rate and ICUs are and have been going down, even with case spikes. The virus is clearly mutating and weakening by the day.

In my opinion, it is up to each and every one of us to do our own risk assessment and make an informed choice. As well as remember what has already been mentioned above- clubs are businesses, they need to cover the bills that keep coming despite the lockdown. And it's great they are evolving and trying to find ways to open up within the rules.

I am very grateful to my local club (not swingers but still private members club) that managed to open within guidelines, with social distancing in place. It stopped myself and my partner, and surely plenty of others, from going to overcrowded beaches or parks just to get some sunbathing. As we're not ones blessed by having a garden, unfortunately.

businesses need money so if allowed to legally open they will the responsibility lies with individuals to choose if they want to go or not

Xtasia is reopening next Saturday as a social-only club, according to the Daily Telegraph.

No sex will be allowed, and a strict 2 metres social distance will have to be kept.

Be interesting to see how long that lasts.

How many think they will be able to make a profit on that basis ?

Are they still charging for entry, or will it just like any pub and they'll try to make their money from the bar?

And if there were an entry fee would people pay it just to socialise from 2 metres away ?

Think a lot of couples would pay entry to socialise bearing in mind some clubs have subsidised bars or even allow you to take your own alcohol . Most single guys wouldnt though if they think theres no chance of dipping their wick.
