surrounded by twinkly lights

As we are finally here with most things reopening, let's just keep remembering that not everyone is happy with the 2m distance reduction and if you are out and about please give them respect and let them be on their way peacefully, this is a time to be compassionate to all as we settle into what we are doing. Please be kind as not everyone has the same opinions, let them do them and you do you

Indeed . . . annoys when (when in normal life) someone stretches across you when looking at cheese in a cold shelf in a supermarket. Even with the Death Look they just don't even notice.

The clue is in the word "look" which is done with the eyes

Indeed it is. Was just having a laugh. It seems another symptom of the virus is a loss of humour

It's an important point op and I am going to still want 2m, which I very rarely felt I was given

The key takeaway from today is that things are likely to stay like this for a long time - i.e controlling the spread of Cov19 depends on how smart/entitled/stupid people are.

Northampton Somewhere

The 2m rule still applies unless unable to do so, so then it's even more important to use face coverings, sanitize your hands etc.

My fear is people will think they can be normal again

I (he) have worked almost every day since lockdown and the amount of people who don't adhere to the 2 metres rule is despicable, in and out of work. Just don't care attitude, these people will take even more liberties and more reason to be blaise and non respectful.

An alternative is not to be ‘out and about’ .... for others to manage everyone else’s concerns is unrealistic .... and If you choose to stand in front of cheese do so with the knowledge that others want to get their cheese and go!
