Bubble dilema....

I normally have a housemate (she is also on fab) but as she was away at a friend's house when lockdown started...she decided to stay there (following the rules). That left me as a single household. My "bubble" is a lady friend I've known for years since we met on fab who lives with adult daughter...so can only bubble with a single.

Just had text off my housemate...she coming back next week.....dilema?

You have to make your own decision on this one

You would not then be in a bubble.

Just meet your long term friend and child outside. @ 2 meters of course.

Hang on a moment though - a single can bubble with a household of any size.

You are not in the bubble circustance anymore however

.

I think you can bubble with your lady friend as long as she doesn't have another bubble and your housemate doesn't have any bubbles themself

Only people from a single adult household can have a bubble. Which is either someone living by themselves or a single parent with children under 18 x

nope

there was specific example given of being a single adult with a housemate you could bubble as long as the housemate did not

That word sounds so stupid, there has to be a better thing to call it than "bubble"

Just seen that on the bbc website. Not sure what to make of it tbh.

Using OP circumstances as an example (no offence intended). You have 4 adults 2 households (2 adults living togther in each different households) who using the guidelines can form a hubble.

Another example, you have 4 adults; 2 grandparents living together who have an adult child and adult grandchild living together in a different household, who using the guidelines can not form a bubble.

Think I'm correct in what I'm saying? All seems a little bizarre x

2 adults in one home and 2 adults in another home cannot form a bubble.

its not about the number its about the reason behind it ... the single people not having any level of intimate contact (and by that i dont mean sex i mean a hand hold, a cuddle , etc) in the 2 families scenario each already have that within their household but thats not really something you get from a housemate dynamic

it puts 2 housemates in a difficult place of who gets their bubble though

I don't think anyone should be guilt tripped about their bubble/s, with the farce what's going on down London today and the past week, c/w media cover, because its "for the cause" Shmmck.

But then lady friend lives with adult daughter so then i guess it would break bubble rules.

You have the bubble option now but may need to burst it, if your friend returns.

wouldn’t matter, you can bubble with a household of any size , the lady friend could be part of the waltons and it would still be allowed
