I have seen the devastating impact this virus has and I am in no hurry to be meeting.

Manchester (she/her)

When I feel safe. Which will probably be months after the government declare things normal.

The whole lockdown thing has become so Pythonesque over the last month that I'm taking responsibility for my own welfare.

I've stopped trying to work out what the hell is going on and will venture forth when I feel comfortable.

When it is safe. Which will certainly be months after the government declare things normal.

surrounded by twinkly lights

When I want to start meeting new people again, happy with just fwb. Especially with the quantity of asymptomatic carriers they are publishing in studys now

When my own logic says so.

Not Boris

Not the "experts" who are now coming out with their own views...of which government seem to be following the majority or average of....so who knows how right that is?

ONS have just said ( live on BBC) their data reckons just 33000 people in total currently have the virus (including non-symptomatic)

Last week it was 56000 week before 80000. This would suggest a lower R value than that being given out at briefings.

Meets from here are not on my radar at all. Just before everything kicked off I’d decided I was ready to look for a relationship and so I wasn’t looking for meets anyway. I’ll be even less motivated with the virus around I think.

Although be fair, my bubble partner is an fwb that I met on here last year.

I reckon I’ll give it another few months for the dust to hopefully settle some more and then think about trying to date in the covid world.

Central

I'd prefer to make my own mind up, which will probably be safer than the official rules, going by records to date

I won't meet until I feel that it's safe. That is likely to be some time after the Government gives the green light.

We'll meet when we are comfortable to, and really only with people who've been sensible in their approach. But there's too much contradicting information out there that we've taken our own stance and precautions throughout rather than need someone to tell us.

Likely we'll have social meets before play meets realistically.

We are adults. We have to be allowed to make our own assessments and manage those risks accordingly. This cannot and will not go on forever!
