Be like trying to get a ticket for a popular gig I'd have guessed.

London/Essex... ish... Romford to be exact

If it is a sunny day I'd rather go drink in the park. Only thing pub wins on is having toilets.

Can see my local out my bedroom window. Unfortunately as we are in a tourist area I will be avoiding it until Autumn regardless.

I'd prefer the UK to get something right with this instead. We've had serial failures, doing most things wrong. Sticking a plaster over the public aspects of our crisis, trying to create a facade of success, whilst the virus is still around in large numbers, is giving people fools gold

Same here in the forest, they will all be as packed as much as they can, the local icecream man has been constantly busy since early may, I can wait for the autumn as well

"pubs, flights, soccer, horse racing, are pass times we can live without until there are better times "

So you are happy to pay for the costs of all the staff that work in these industries until you think it's safe for them to go back to work?

"pubs, flights, soccer, horse racing, are pass times we can live without until there are better times "

Are you aware that within the Pub industry alone, unless the 2M ruling is reduced to 1M, at least 70% of current closed pubs will NOT open again!!

Within Hospitality alone, unless they can reopen soon, over 3.5M jobs are at risk.

If the pubs etc reopen people will have a choice whether to go or not !

Customers have a choice ! The staff do not, but hopefully there can be systems in place to keep them safe.

My choice would be stay away for now, this view will I am sure change in time, but who knows when !

The government did a stellar job of frightening the population to get them to stay at home.

Such a good job that they now can’t get them to come back out even though the R rate is a lot lower in large parts of the country.

We never lived in a sterile world and we never will.
