"2nd time I’ve read something similar on a profile..am waiting for someone to say April fools or show some evidence " I've just found the article in the Mirror online. They haven't specifically made sex illegal - that is just the Mirror twisting wording. There is amendments coming through legislation which makes it illegal e.g. fines for one or more person from seperate households to be together within private spaces without a reasonable excuse. This has always been the case since the start of the lockdown, but passing it through legislation givesthe authorities more power for people in private spaces.

"It must only apply to indoor private spaces I guess, as they have said you can have guests in your garden socially distancing." so you can have six people walk through your house to the Garden ... ( if there is no other way through) but you cant are your partner if you have one that lives in a different house... but your kids can go to school. And you can go to work and social distance where possible... except in your own home x

"The government is introducing new lockdown measures that prevent people from socialising (or gathering) with one person from outside of their household in a private space Up until now the person visiting a house for sex would have been the one in breach of the measures But now both people would be able to be prosecuted under the law with a bill called amendment regulations being introduced in parliament tomorrow For those couples looking for a workaround, having sex in a public place is already illegal The new legislation explicitly bans being inside the house in a gathering of more than one person without a reasonable excuse " What is the website link?

You are doing a very important job and it flies under the government's nose so they just ignore you. To them you are an anomaly. Personally I think you are an angel keep up your work.

I originally took up the work as it enabled me to drive about when I'd have otherwise been stuck in.. this particular niche came about as I have experience and several of my daughters friends needed the help and their parents fell who normally cared for them fell into vulnerable groups.. but since taking on the few people originally. I now have 7 that I look in on. They arent in vulnerable groups for their health.. just their mental health and grasp on the world. Like they cant go shopping alone.

"How the holy hell can this be enforced? I'm not one for the tin foil hat consipracies, I have my own opinions on the whole lockdown situation but I can't help but think there are certain freedoms are being taken away, like when the whole social distancing rules end, will they ammend this "law", I honestly am starting to feel like the government are using a pandemic as a power grab, we're past a peak, starting to get some level of normality but lets talk sence, sex has been proven vital for physical and mental health, there is a reason why masterbation is something almost everyone does, so why is this being made to be 'illegal' now, getting a bit much in my humble opinion" aex itself isnt. It's that people shouldn't be in the house in the first place. I'm with you that allowing couples that dont live together should have been allowed already... the long term issues this non contact is going to have could be with us for years. Mental health services were already under pressure before all this... more so now. There are however loop holes.. as you can go to another house to calm down.. but I doubt that would work if you lived by yourself. Looking at the way things have been all last week and this weekend I cant see most listening

Looking at the way things have been all last week and this weekend I cant see most listening " Non contact rules are going to have a huge knock on effect in the future, me personally, my own mental health does take a knock when I see articles like this, even if I'm aware that its probably a load of shit, simply because it starts to feel like we're moving forward then boom, shit like this, I think at somepoint people will have to take there own risk assesments, not just for sex but in general, like are we going to miss celebrating birthdays and not being able to hug loved ones for years, possibly forever, as vaccine may not ever come or work, if thats the case it's not a life I want too live I'm afraid, social and physical interaction forms a huge chunk of peoples lives and for me, if thats out the window whats the point? I get so much out of interactions with other humans, and it is not the same over social media or skype/zoom

There's a much bigger picture here, I don't know what it is, but perhaps the tin foil hat brigade need to stop being so self righteous and wake up a bit instead of mocking everything that rocks their comfortable little lives. Our rights are slowly being eroded.

"Whether the rules can be enforced is another matter but its perfectly simple. The virus is most easily spread when two or more people are in close contact (closer than 2m). Even more so indoors compared to outdoors. The rules are to try and slow our stop spread of the virus. "

You seem to be missing the point.. they wont police it.. They have sh*t all interest in you meeting someone in your home for sex. They do however have an interesting in breaking up large scale house parties that get out of hand.. cause neighbours to complain and call the police. Trust me they ain't monitoring alexa for the sounds of you crying out the lords name. It's all about perspective... not everything is done to keep you down.. Now off you pop to North Korea and tell them of your troubles. No need for rudeness. I want talking about parties, I was referring to 1 person visiting and breaking rules. North Korea has nothing to do with my post. " *wasn't, not want.

"Here's a bit of a reality check and something half the looney lefty conspiracy theorist, they're eroding our liberties bunch probably won't like... But maybe, just maybe look at the bigger picture. Do you think this has been brought in to stop you bumping ugly with the genitals of your choosing? Or could it be in response to the number of idiots hosting large scale parties in private dwellings? Up until now the only deterrent was the police asking them to leave. Now these idiots can at least be fined and if needed further criminal proceedings taken. "the new law (making sex with anyone who does not live in your household) illegal, comes into force as part of the new covid-19 legislation. People shagging outside of their own household (so anyone not living together), could be prosecuted and get a criminal record. That basically fucks every dating app & website. Mary Whitehouse will be jumping for joy." I don't think it specifically mentions sex... simply it mentions your not supposed to be in anyone else's house except for specific reasons.

It's just another example of piss poor thinking with unintended consequence" Certainly agree to an extent but I think it's been more to do with timing. It becomes at what point do you draw the line. Policy wise it makes more sense to blanket ban everything and allow discretion to be taken than blur the lines further saying it's fine to have 1 / 2 / 3 people.. it just sends mixed messages. We personally have no issue, our neighbours frequently nip over the road and spend time with others across the street. For us, they're adults and able to make choices that are right for them. We know friends who meet frequently in houses and gardens.. again their choice. They don't make a song and dance about it and on the whole we would say they go about it sensibly. We spent time with family in the garden before it was allowed.. again we're all adults and can make the right choices. Hopefully further relaxation will follow and something near enormity will arrive.

They are. My lodger delivers for parcel force and does pest control. One neighbour jumping to conclusions that he was out for a jolly every day and spreading rumours to other people about him. He then complained to other neighbours that he had seen a large rat at our house and three adjacent houses at the same time. It was Bella, one of our cats. So this is just one example of a person making assumptions, if he'd have phoned me and asked I could have told him. No need for spreading misinformation at all.

I know what the intention is … but this is silly pointless and a PR disaster to top all PR disasters, when will they actually do something that makes sense ! kids can go to school with loads of other kids and teachers, but people are reporting neighbours for seeing their grandkids !! REALLY !!!!!!!!" Spot on, As a hypothetical exercise obviously Imagine a fwb situation, both single, lady has kids, gentleman has visited once a fortnight and stayed overnight. Other than that they've seen nobody. Why is this more risky than the crowds from all over the country we've seen at beaches and beauty spots? This said hypothetical pair will just have to meet during the daytime instead.

"Well I’ve been a rebel and gone back to England twice in last two weeks to see my grandchildren ....!not seen them in 3 months and suppose surprise the police were not waiting for me We all still fit and healthy !!!! So you were waiting for something to happen ,I guess . So just because nothing happened you are willing to risk everything ,just to get laid ? You can't be serious ! Ha ha ha didn’t say I was being laid as you put it ... I’ve been to see my grandchildren !!! What I meant is you think police won't catch you . My ( Priya) point was if the police would have caught you, they would have reprimanded you for sure as seeing your grand kids is not a reasonable ground to travel . " Oh dear a telling off and a fine !!!! And in my job I had contact with the police last month who were telling me that fines were a last resort ,??? Think they would of let a 60yr old woman off !!!

Can you completely be satisfied that someone is not a carrier of Covid? Adults we may be. But again. How would you know someone else isn't a carrier?

"We're walking into a police state and our civil liberties are being eroded using covid as a reason. Yes we need to take caution but we are all adults. " Yeah when a government wants to erode your civil liberties they don't tend to take some away then slowly release them back to you in a controlled measure having taken advice from the scientific community responsible for the research of disease and virus transmissions.. A government slow takes them away one by one without you knowing, gains maximum compliance through extreme punishments.. not asking the police to advise you not to have a picnic with 20 of your mates. Some people really have no concept of a police state or how lucky they are to live in a country which actually allows freedom. You're on a swingers site.. even in some western countries this kind of activity is banned. Again.. get a grip.

"Good news is that , all these are temporary measures until we are free of this deadly pandemic. We just have to hold our inhibitions for a while ,after that the world is ours. " So I take it you not having sex? I mean you said "we" like you've not had sex or adult contact /physical contact since lock down started? My personal opinion is that couples don't know how it is for singles right now, so waving your fingers at single people for voicing their frustration of not being able to have a cuddle or sex doesn't hold alot of weight.... We not bad people for being frustrated, we human and miss the contact, saying we miss it doesnt mean we going to go out and shag half the street now, but I'd definitely not say no to one safe FWB for the duration of this lock down, single people also have kids so moving a FB in is also not a viable option most. My FB coming to my house is still probably more safe than sending my kids to school So no, your good news really means nothing to those singles that have not even had a cuddle or any form of tactile contact with anyone for weeks. I mean this in the nicest most least attacking way possible way

We've experienced it ourselves when going out for legitimate reasons, work. One nosy neighbour decided to take it upon himself to spread rumours to others about us being out every day. Why is this a problem...because it takes up resources such as the police and occasionally the nhs when someone needs attention after to much drink or other substance misuse. Do you really think special branch are deploying a crack team to monitor you.. or your local copper really gives a f*ck if you decide to meet someone else.. not a chance. Stop reading trash news, turning it into some sort of over blown theory.. and grow the f*ck up.. And apologise for the rant but sick of hearing people whine how hard done by they are. We have a system that's paying for people not to have to go to work, that allows freedom of opinion and expression, is tolerant and accepting of peoples sexual choice. Take a trip to China, Pakistan, Russia.. and tell them how crap life in the uk is. And breathe..... So how do you propose they police it then? Spy cams in every home? More snitching from neighbours who do it out of spite or without knowing the true circumstances? Tuning into people's smart speakers etc? Do you not see how intrusive this really is?? You seem to be missing the point.. they wont police it.. They have sh*t all interest in you meeting someone in your home for sex. They do however have an interesting in breaking up large scale house parties that get out of hand.. cause neighbours to complain and call the police. Trust me they ain't monitoring alexa for the sounds of you crying out the lords name. It's all about perspective... not everything is done to keep you down.. Now off you pop to North Korea and tell them of your troubles. No need for rudeness. I want talking about parties, I was referring to 1 person visiting and breaking rules. Anyway ,don't expect you to comprehend fully as can see from your post is you are angered by the govt decision. Yes not just fuckbuddies but even normal people who are in relationships but staying apart can't meet for sex . And nobody is laughing on your wounds at all, but we are facing a situation here. There are hospitals in England which have literally closed their admissions as they can't take anymore . Right now people with symptoms are been asked to stay home and not to visit GP or a hospital. This is very little price people will be paying to keep everyone safe . This won't be for a lifetime . Today Bournemouth beach was full of people not wearing masks. It's ridiculous.
