Rainbow land

Just read a article in the mirror.

Sex in your house with someone from outside of your household is set to become illegal tomorrow.

The government is introducing new lockdown measures that prevent people from socialising (or gathering) with one person from outside of their household in a private space.... See the mirror article

Is this part of the charge coming in from tomorrow that allows upto 6 people at your home in the outdoors area only, except that they can enter and exit via the building, for the purposes of access to the outdoors area.

Tomorrow's change doesn't include sex but is intended to only have visitors to be inside whilst they make their way to the outside.

All people still need to keep to the 2 meters rule whether inside or outside.

Yes, it's true, it's not legal to have a visitor in your home unless it's for a specific list of reasons and sex is not one of them.

I don't think it's actually a change but lawyers are saying the new regs are clearer on some points.

You can legally have sex with up to 5 people out of doors though (unless you come up against other laws about that).

....but the official legislation being presented at 11:30am has been published: http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2020/558/pdfs/uksi_20200558_en.pdf

It's amendments to the existing temporary law, and Regulation 7 (starting on page 4) clarifies the exclusions to indoor 'gatherings' - anything not on that list will thereby be illegal...

"Surprised nobody has mentioned the obvious loophole in the regulation. It advises that meeting in a household for the purpose of socialising is not permitted, working however is excluded. Therefore as long as you get paid for it, you're fine

So I can have an escort around my place then?

At least one lawyer has said yes. As it's essential to an escort's work."

as long as social distancing is maintained

". I think a report said that in the last 2 weeks.. less than 50% of the population was following the lockdown rules

If that's the case that might explain why our continuing infection and death rates are so much higher than than other countries in Europe.

It wouldn't explain why they are still falling.

And what they didn't tell you is most if those 50% were working so could not be locked down"

UK is 5th from the bottom of the list of countries meeting the WHO criteria for lifting the lockdown, just above Syria. Published by researchers from Oxford University.

Have heard a number of reports that undertakers and NHS hospitals are preparing for a busy July and August.

"How would they even know. They have stopped even bothering on social distancing most of the time. "

Don't know if someone said it but 5G...

Theoretically they could by tracking 3G and 4G location data at the towers and then crosschecking with previous data.

Practically they don't have the resources and nobody cares.

Besides, most people are just complying so that they won't get sick...

Have a think why this happened, the government relaxed lockdown and all I heard on the news and social media was about the confused statements, we don't know what to do, we don't understand the rules

Boris stood up amd said "use common sense" but still the questions were asked so the government gave a definitive to those that weren't capable of thinking and screwed the rest if us that have common sense ....

Of course it's completely unenforceable but those of us with common sense understand ...

Same with quarantine, the government said it wasn't necessary, then people complained and the media complained, guess what ? They decided to do quarantine. Now people are complaining about the quarantine and the media is against it ...

It is against the Law but if you expose to strangers and if they complain, but if you stay discrete then or visit a nudist beach ,it's not .

The current Law is about social distancing.

i know my point is not about what law or who it refers to but that many things are illegal and many people here cross that line, i don't care one way or the other what people do, i think it is down to how they perceive something until a child walks around the aisle at a supermarket or out of changing room in shoe shop or out of the trees in the local park many people wouldn't blink an eye, i go to nudist beaches and see sex performed unashamedly where people dressed people are walking their dogs with family members i don't think its right and its certainly not legal but it doesn't phase me i know it happens but its not about me, its about others, we are talking about using the law to make others feel guilty, to make others turn whistle blower, i personally don't know anyone in over two months who has been ill with the virus i appreciate many have been but this is a virus with no cure as yet the flu is a virus with no cure as yet, I've stayed secluded for over two months abiding by the farcical distancing rules that it appears many people disregard and now another farce its illegal to have sex in your own home lol. ok so a couple both working at this time in jobs that require them to interact with people at less than 2m say for example supermarket workers go home and get into bed and have sex is that illegal?

"Just read a article in the mirror.

Sex in your house with someone from outside of your household is set to become illegal tomorrow.

The government is introducing new lockdown measures that prevent people from socialising (or gathering) with one person from outside of their household in a private space.... See the mirror article

But that's been the case since lockdown started?"

The difference is before, the advice given was in the positive i.e. they were advising what you can do. Now advice is in negative i.e telling us what we can't do.
