I find some when in shops so rude and by that other customers not the staff the second you forget or get to close people are rude

And just no need for it.

People are only looking out for their own wellbeing I'd imagine

I agree with the OP. Yes people are looking out for themselves but some need to learn how to he more assertive rather than just plain rude. Ive seen people shout at older folk who have just plain forgot and yes I pulled them up on their behaviour. Do it to one of my older relatives and the virus will be the least of their worries.

It’s not old people I find rude and not obeying the rules but younger people who think it don’t affect them , they try and sit by you on public transport had it happen 3 times this week alone ,
