Southern England

Yes, Denmark have seen no rise in infections for the past 4 weeks and they are baffled by it,

Also Austria have seen only a few new infections.

Both Countries eased lockdown a few weeks ago. Positive news indeed.

I don't think I'll be rushing to the beach just yet. Could be playing tennis doubles week after next with a bit of luck. Yes it is good news and keeping fingers and toes crossed very positively.

Middlesbrough

There are reports from several countries now that its just dropping like a lead weight.

Literally from hundreds to 80-90 cases overnight.

If this is the new pattern i for one don't care why, or how, or who or what or which as long as the signs are proven to be showing its fucking burning itself out who CARES.

NHS need a let up, people need to be with families, death toll halts, infection stops, "normal" resumes. Whatever this is lets hope that the uk are next to see this massive improvement.

London seems to be experiencing the same phenomenon.

Not really ?

I'd suggest it was planned and inevitable

Now what ? Officially surely there is only one direction for the trend to go ???

Good news would be a preventative solution

Not heard one yet ?

Fancy the Government planning that less people should die just so that they can bring us good news. Tricky Tories in the least.

The good news for less flu deaths every year is that everybody gets a flu injection - I imagine they had that one planned too. Really they already do? Say it ain't so!?

Not entirely sure what your perspective is there

However I'll clarify mine

A virus occurred

It was evident that without a control it spreads into previously un infected humans at an exponential rate

Whilst it spread an unpalatable number of people began to die

The world reasoned their only control would be vairing degrees of fairly restricted movement and social interaction

8 weeks later the restrictions do as expected why would they not ?

Currently all we have learned the really good news is

Every time this thing flares up a severe restriction of movement and contact is effective

And currently we dont have another control

The virus hasn't "burnt" out it couldn't we have been isolating and obeying

The reduction in cases curve correlate to the restrictions
