"ok what's he done ?"

Allegedly taken advantage of the furlough scheme for gardeners and house staff who work for him.

Which if it's true does reflect badly on him.

It is worth noting he's been campaigning against press misbehaviour for a long time, so that's probably why he's getting singled out when he's far from the only person or celebrity to be doing this.

Tax avoidance damages the NHS.

And no i wouldn't.

The fact that he earned shit loads of money means he has enough.

Ok people have had plenty of reminders.

For the people who obviously rub each other up the wrong way avoid each other.

This is the virus section, yes, some of it will will discuss what the Government is doing/ done / not done but turning threads into a political tangent at every opportunity is not what this section is for. Use the political section.

Info / advice for anyone who wants to read it, topping up your account with forum bans normally ends in a Permanent

I haven't read the article because I won't read anything from that particular source, so I don't know the full details.

What does surprise me is that someone who can afford it decides that those two particular jobs don't need doing in lockdown. If anything I'd have thought he'd want a tidy house and garden if stuck there for several weeks.

No,you're wrong

The K2 tax scheme used by Mr Carr is a way of lowering the amount of tax paid. It is legal and Mr Carr made clear in his statement it was fully disclosed to HMRC.

I hate this ‘champagne socialist’ thing. I’m one of them, is there anything wrong with doing well for yourself and think about society and the good of other people?

It always makes me laugh when people see the irony of well off people voting for the left without seeing that you have the same thing with white van drivers or working class people voting conservative.

It’s always good to look beyond one’s nose.

I've never understood this sort of question.

1) No, I wouldn't. I would gladly and proudly support the NHS and vulnerable of this country through my taxes.

2) Since when did what I do become the measure of what is ethical?!
