"Reading yet more failings from all involved in making decicions on this. The bill for it, the misery it's going to cause, the lies upon lies that have been peddled in the name of save the NHS, the biggest disease is those that are full of their own importance. Gueswork, computer models, lies, indecision, incorrect decisions, procrastination and half arsed attempts at reacting significantly quickly. This lockdown needs to be scrapped.... People still queuing to get into supermarkets, pharmacies etc. I do hope things get better with time, as though some people seem to think that because so many people are out and about, that’s an indication we are back to “normal”

You seem to have a firm grip about it all.. So we are all listening OP......... The Answer is.....? Personally, I think anyone that wants to do their own thing, should sign a declaration that in the event they pick up Covid, the likes of me, wont have to treat or care for you, putting me and my family at risk....Fairs, fair.

"You should be a politician you seem to have all the answers. But incase you economics degree is out of date I will just remind you that our economy is mainly service and hospitality based and as bars, restaurants and hotels are still closed. Most people still don't have a work to go back to. " I am self employed and losing money every day I‘m sat at home. So I’m one of those who is quite anxious to see the back of all these restrictions. But I would prefer to see the restrictions eased off gradually, rather than scrapped overnight.

"It was never unsafe if properly and efficiently managed That's the point, snowflakes panicked and now look at what's coming.. Public sector workers on full pay, most private sector workers on furlough pay... Teachers refusing to go back to work.. Not surprising, ching ching,10 months holiday thank you very much.. People seem to think on the whole it's a holiday, it's far from that.. Get back to work or very soon there won't be anything to go back to... Basic economics... " If the public sector workers are working then why would they not be on full pay? Also a lot of teachers have never stopped working either distance learning or at school for the families of key workers..

What is a snowflake? Such a daft expression. Lives first. The economy isn’t going to die. They give billions pounds out to things they choose to, the money is always found somewhere. Teachers aren’t refusing to go back to school, they have been working all the way through and so have other school staff and that includes holidays and bank holidays and support staff don’t get paid for the holidays either. With the exception of 2 nurses and one senior nurse across five wards he got moved from and into.. It was was quite frankly, a very basic service... Couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery to be frank, nobody is accountable, you can't find the same doctor twice in two days.. Then just get fobbed off with some "opinion" with the "let's see what happens over the next week or so" It's basically a burocrastic money pit.

" We lost our Dad early March, he was in Wigan 3 times, Southport and Blackpool twice each in the previous 7 months and yes I can relate to sometimes not seeing the same staff but that's because they work shifts and will have time off.. I would say on the whole the system seemed to be a lot about turnaround and not wanting beds blocked etc but that's not the staff on duty that's the management.. The nurses and doctors were spot on and no complaints although I am biased as several of my family are NHS..

Maybe if schools had shouted louder at the beginning and demanded the recognition for their work then people would understand a little about what has actually been happening. Who knows? I just think schools are becoming an easy target.
