CRNW

Good afternoon peeps.I hope that you are all enjoying this gorgeous weather.Long may it continue.

Anyway I need your thoughts please.

My teenage son comes to stay with me from his mother's.

I've found out that during this Covid-19 she is still going to stop with her fella on the Wirral.

This has really looking annoyed me as they obviously don't live together and there is certainly no social distancing.

I'm concerned with their lapsy Daisy attitude towards this and with who else are they socializing with!?.

It's possible that my ex could catch this Corona and pass it to my son who could just hopefully be a carrier but then pass it on to me.

I'm a key worker on the front line delivering to supermarkets.

Do I just let it go and say nothing or,report it to the relevant authorities?.

I'm really tempted with the latter.

TIA.

Puggy

all loved up

Do you want to risk your relationship with your ex and your child. What is it with reporting people.

I personally think the risk is very small.... and if your that upset about it speak to her about it.

Not sure who you would report it to either as the police arent interfering in things like that.

Speak to her like an adult.

You can't dictate to her what she does with her life even if you believe she is in the wrong.

If she continues and you genuinely feel you too much at risk your only options are to stop seeing your child temporarily or offer to take full term custody temporarily.

given the number of people you are coming into contact with daily this increase of one person (twice removed through your son and the ex) is a tiny increase in risk

i know its not fair that some people are breaking the rules while others stick to them, but its probably going to come across looking petty and like its because the ex has someone new ... not worth creating the bad tension with your son in the middle in my opinion
