I really find it worrying and troubling that at such a time of national crisis, our so called commander and chief slopes away and hides.

It’s like being lead by a headless snake!

He is apparently going to miss PMQ’s once again today. Is the play to keep him away from scrutiny so his reputation isn’t harmed?

But just during lockdown, otherwise he would be out cheating on his partner and fucking and impregnating other ppls wives like he does

He needs to start being honest for a starters. I for one, hope he does start doing things right, we all do because if not, he won't suffer, innocent people will. Trouble is, we are so far down the rabbit hole, he doesn't have to be honest, people just swallow it.

Central

He's someone who has form through his adult life of being in things for his own gain, shirking work and responsibility and many other attributes that make him particularly unfit as a leader.

Despite failings from the Cygnus epidemic tests in 2016, we started this epidemic as no 2 in the world for readiness. This despite Johnsons collaborators having worked against the NHS for years.

But Johnson threw our leadership down the drain from the start. Prevarication, indecision, leaving things to chance and throwing thousands to their deaths. He's aware that the buck rests with him and that he has minimal understanding of this situation and even less control. He's frightened.

"I really find it worrying and troubling that at such a time of national crisis, our so called commander and chief slopes away and hides.

It’s like being lead by a headless snake!

He is apparently going to miss PMQ’s once again today. Is the play to keep him away from scrutiny so his reputation isn’t harmed?

Perhaps hes doing his job

Love Boris "

Because he defeated that odious corbyn and I agree with most of his views. He's doing a good job under difficult circumstances AND we're going to leave the EU with no deal - whats not to like

And Boris has continually promised a great deal and an oven ready deal, he keeps denying any chance of a no deal

The climate modeller James Annan has used his analytical methods to show what would have happened if the UK government had imposed its lockdown a week earlier. Starting it on 16 March, rather than 23 March, his modelling suggests, would by now have saved around 30,000 lives, reducing the rate of illness and death from coronavirus roughly by a factor of five.

That's it...

You didn't expect him to be a suitable leader, he was voted in to get brexit done. Everyone knew he was a big liability.

Locking down earlier would of saved a lot of lives. How many of those people that rushed down the pub that last night are now dead, or passed it on to somebody who did die??

All parties have underfunded social care and lab facilities. But there were things that should and could of been done to minimise the effects.

we can only speculate about lives if they would have been saved.

Much of the scientific research suggests that no matter what.. comparable countries ( ie similar health care. Density and vulnerability of population) will all have similar deaths per million once this is finally subsiding.

None of us on here know the actual details. All we can speculate on is what we are told.

It will be years down the line before we really know much at all. I for one have been anti lock down since the start. And still fear the effects of lockdown and the subsequent devastating impacts of the social isolation on the population... but then whilst I know no one personally badly affected by the virus I am speaking to people daily who have lost someone or are worried about losing someone due to the mental health crisis.

How about some personal responsibility here. Obviously those in care homes and hospital can't isolate themselves. But everyone else could have decided to isolate as early as they wanted to and avoided catching the virus. You don't have to wait to be told. The truth is that people don't want to isolate but are then blaming the government for not forcing them to isolate.

Why would we isolate when we had been told to ‘take it on the chin’ and Boris boasted about shaking hands with virus patients? The government also said that it couldn’t be caught in cars homes and cock wombles like Tim Martin said you can’t catch it in pubs

They were not sent back.

They were new residents.

Why do people assume they were originally from the same home they were sent to?

These people took Ill in there own house.

Admitted to hospital.

Then discharged to a care home to recover.

Therefore new people people to the system not returning residents.
