Really ? This must be wrong then Mr Conte outlined the country’s plan for “Phase Two” of lifting its lockdown on Sunday (26 Apr). The new rules will see the following restrictions lifted: - People will be allowed to move around their own regions - but not between different regions - Funerals will resume, but with a maximum of 15 people attending, and ideally will be carried out outdoors - Individual athletes can resume training, and people will be allowed to do sports in wider areas, not just in the vicinity of their homes - Sports teams will be able to hold group training from 18 May - Bars and restaurants will reopen for takeaway service,rather than just delivery, from 4 May, but food must be consumed at home or in an office - Hairdressers, beauty salons, bars and restaurants are expected to reopen for dine-in service from 1 June - More retail shops not already opened under the earliest easing measures will reopen on 18 May along with museums and libraries Will social distancing measures still be in place? Mr Conte said that social distancing measures will need to continue for months to come, and urged members of the public to stay at least a metre apart from each other. Only allowed to be out within 1 km of their property." im not sure if this is outdated , i know households in tenerife have been allowed to mix this week, someone i know had a playdate with her daughters friend was the first time their child had seen any other kids since the beginning of lockdown some bars also reopened with 50% occupancy of their terrace allowed and im sure that was in the middle of the day | |||

Maybe depends on the region in Spain, I know you can’t even cross into Murcia from Almeria even if the supermarket is nearer in crossing the border, heavy fine if you are caught. You can only cycle in your own town and walking is just 1km if your house. They have opened some bars in our area of Spain but only to 50% of capacity and outside terrace only. They only allow 2 people to a car and that’s the same household, up until last week one had to sit in the back, both couldn’t sit in the front  | |||

We WONT be social distancing for the rest of our lives, we WONT see pubs and clubs closed for ever. Of the black death was successfully controlled with the backwards science that was available then, and Spanish Flu was.successfully controlled with much more basic knowledge & techniques than we have now then we WILL succeed against Covid 19. Most of it died out with the people it killed.

"They did have a much stricter lock down to begin with for a good 60-70 days, but also I’ve heard they are taking strict measures about wearing masks whatever they go (something we don’t see here) and taking every precaution possible. I guess time will tell, but it’s definitely positive to see how they are back to try move forward " That is what we need to see, a positive way showing that people can live with this virus, so we can happily move forward | |||
