The population knew the plan from the beginning, including what would need to happen for the stages of lockdown to come through from four to zero. People payed attention there too. | |||

" The 2 people bit is bloody ridiculous. You meet mum outside 2m apart. Somehow you give her the virus. She goes home and gives it to dad. So why not meet them both at the same time still the 2m apart. I do understand it's still about minimising risk. But come on in this scenario it could be pot luck. If you choose to meet dad and he doesn't get it (mum's safe) but choose to meet mum and they both end up with it. | |||

For me I took it as we still need to be aware when going to work/ shops etc but I don't think it is the greatest of slogans to get their point across. They couldn't keep the stay at home one as they were telling people to go back to work. I think people do need straight and concise directions in all this so that we all know what we should be doing...his do this this but don't do it wasn't exactly concise. | |||

" the way in understand is they had to stop the floodgates somewhere your argument while making total sense also applies to a household where 3 people live, so now you can meet your mum and dad but not your sister at the same time, but they could just take it back and infect your sister easily anyway so lets allows households of 3 now thats your mum and dad and sister but not your brother, same logic again and so on so forth each time the number in a house hold is increased by 1 its actually increased by 2,( one each side) and what if i want to meet both my sisters at the same time who actually live in their own households with their own husbands , its only 2 people, but now if its 2 people they can bring along 2 from their household and their kids etc etc it starts to become exponential they didnt tell you to choose parents, they just said meet them individually because the line had to be drawn somewhere and the simplest least complicated place was at 1 i do think there was a gap for single parents though that cannot meet anyone because they cant leave the kids at home, some easing for those groups would be helpful | |||
