Reading

Is it/did it go ahead in your area today?

I’m waiting to see if the one here in Reading is happening.

They should be denied treatment if they fall ill from it.

Sorry I know it’s harsh.

When there are no more cases or a vaccine. We are still paying taxes. That's how we are funding the NHS...do you also believe the Earth is flat

Well to put in perspective the government experts have stated that the dreaded R number is below 1..they also did random testing on household's and this showed the figure is 1 in 400 people are infected with covid 19..as most cases your classed as free after 2 weeks and its been 8 weeks of lockdown it means at least 1 in 100 have already been infected if in the early days the R number was above 1 then odds are more than 1 in 50 have already been infected..that's during lockdown if you go back further to December or January when it first entered Europe and the UK then many more will of been exposed to it..we think most people are worrying ad selling the fear cycle too much..

There are many many webcams of coastal resorts - St Ives for example is chocker this time of year - the live cam currently shows it as all but deserted.

Can't see why he'd lie to me, he's in a quiet fishing village so maybe people are avoiding known tourist spots like st Ives etc I'll ask him next week

If it was something that only kills those that break the rules I would say well if that's what you want then do it. Sadly it does not just affect the rule breakers

Sorry but I've got a BBQ that needs firing up and better things to do, my friend is close to Newquay and I didn't think he'd lie.

Surely those who break the rules organising gatherings should be fined 3k or at least trialled via video for attempted murder since spreading the disease, which they may do, may cause death.

Not broken any rules last time I looked we still live in a democracy, freedom of speech or did we become a police state.

Yeah like the big crowd on Westminster Bridge the other week clapping the NHS... Or the tesco supermarket down my road that has dozens of people gathered out and inside with little or no enforcement of human separation in place. 3k fine for all those deaths resulting from that folly. Hanging is too good for 'em
