"I know as from Wednesday that where I live is about to get super busy. In total shock that it’s ok to travel to other places for exercise. This will mean spreading the virus to places that potentially have a lot lower cases. Absolutely crazy. ![]() Why do you plan to go and kiss the vistors? If you keep distance no problem

It's part of their charm but in the current situation it will bring unnecessary risks and concerns for local people..

"Do not know what the P M was thinking about letting people drive anywhere should have been in own post Coad area I have a motorhome that I would like to get out in it to the coast but will stay home and safe" Ditto to that. We may have our own mobile self insulation vehicles. Toilet shower, hot drinks and food with us. And no need to come into contact with the locals. But unfortunately ! I don't think the over zealous police will see it that way. So I to will stay close to home. ![]()

Absolutely crazy. ![]() The owners of caravans at haven in Weymouth didn't think the previous rules applied to them so no doubt more of them will now arrive. Theres no "confirmed" cases on Portland (some of us are sure we had it beginning of December after dealing with a Chinese cruise ship) but reckon that will change with day trippers walking the island. Time will tell I guess

"Do not know what the P M was thinking about letting people drive anywhere should have been in own post Coad area I have a motorhome that I would like to get out in it to the coast but will stay home and safe" More to the point he should have told us all to stay at home, went for a few bits yesterday and the town was full, people not even waiting till Wednesday and do people not realise that the councils have shut most of the seaside car parks? Know they have in Cromer where my parents are and the NW beaches are closed so ..... stay home n stay safe simples

"Kind of glad I live in a quiet village that’s not really famous for anything. Only have to worry about the amount of cyclists not giving my horse enough space when passing me. " Plus MK is seriously shit so who would visit.

"The police cannot cope with the breakouts as were shown on the news and they will only increase as more people say "why can't I go out, they are", so this is the next logical step, they have been exercising/picnicking all over the main parts and villages of the forest for 3 weeks " The thing is the police only have powers that government give them. All that will happen here is people will travel for miles to come to the beautiful beaches for the day, pay a £30 fine as let’s be honest that’s a bargain for a day out with a family that have been nowhere for months. Then go home. The car parks here were closed but beaches not, that would be impossible to manage as it’s miles of beaches. But local people only taking there 1 hour a day. This part of the country is about to be inundated. ![]()
