This will probably be one of those posts that gets a few angry replies. I have my opinion and you have yours... which l respect so please have respect for mine in return.

Watched an advert tonight on TV from an on line food ordering company wanting us to give a donation so that they can give a meal to a NHS front line worker. Yeah l can see wanting to reward and show thanks but l really think their charitable donation of a meal should be for those that need it most (a family facing hardship at this time), I know NHS staff are working tirelessly at this time but at the end of the day they have a wage something that a lot of people do not just now.

I agree. I think most NHS staff don't want freebies anyway

I also think a lot of people have raised or donated money to the NHS charity. Having read that they fund equipment for the NHS that they can't get then I don't think that is right, the NHS shouldn't be a charity. If it helps the NHS staff who were working with Covid patients then that would be good, ie foe any help they need with their mental health after all this
