Until there is a reliable - drug, vaccine, or solution there will be no * normal* as we knew it

Until the UK is confirmed as COVID-19 free we cannot go back to our normal lives

The sooner everyone understands and abides by the rules the better. I was appalled by the photos taken in London on Friday. People sunbathing, picnicking, playing games etc in green open spaces.... NO! NO! NO!

It’s refreshing to see a leader in the U.K. give details of a desired and as the science is dictating at present a realistic plan as to when some sectors can return to some form of new normal

Unlike Nicola Sturgeon who keeps speaking about a plan and is still no further forward in presenting another one of her white papers. Her latest message is stay at home but almost mirrors Boris’ such as unlimited exercise just so she can create division and be different

There is a little bit of hope after listening the PM address the nation

We are now allowed to drive to a destination we are also allowed out for unlimited time, we need to be alert so keep looking to ensure social distancing.

But must important we are no longer urged to stay at home. Even the motorway signs have changed.

"Social distancing will be in place until the infection is gone, why are so many people struggling to understand this "

But the infection will never just be 'gone'. Lockdown was about delay not prevention. So the NHS could cope with the number of people sick with corona at the same time.

Realistically how long will it be appropriate to restrict life in order to save it? I'm not talking about fucking and eating out. I mean basic things humans do. The suicide rate has increased, deaths dut to domestic violence has increased, neglect has Increased, safeguarding referrals have increased and the number of teenagers who are on the verge of homelessness has increased. Surely those things are equally or damaging than the virus.

Everyone will choose to adopt their own level of comfort going forward. Once it’s ‘ok’ to have gatherings of 10 as was being proposed (even if it was family) then basically people will choose how they interpret that. Common sense dictates that those with the most appetite for risk will be the first to go on holiday, the first to go for a meal/for a drink and probably the first to swing. What amazes me that as swingers (and by definition risk takers!) everyone appears so utterly risk adverse. The government knows that some people will push the boundaries and some will actually do the opposite. The net result will be the virus is controlled....personally I think things will seem very different by July...;)
